When I click on 'load game' it takes me to a list of four files (H, I, J, K). When I select a file to load (I), it just sends me back out to the main menu. It appears the only game I can open is 'resume current game' which works perfectly well, but that's not the game I want.

H, I, J, K are the automatically saved games, done 1 per week for H, I, J and the current one for K.

So if you load H, I or J, you should still have the same career, but 1 or a few weeks earlier. You can check the current Week in info bar of the World Tour menu.

But they won't load. Clicking on any of them just kicks me back out to the Main Menu. And yes, I'm trying to back the game up a week, because I made a mistake in training and wasted a week.

Going back to the Main Menu after the game is loaded is the normal behavior.

Do you mean that the World Tour week doesn't change to the week shown in the saved game details..?

Thank you for explaining that. When the only option for continuing play from the Main Menu was 'Resume Current Game', I thought that meant picking the game up where it left off, not resuming it from the end of the previous week. The players' training hours have reset, so I can proceed. The game is working as designed.

Oh yup, it might be a bit confusing. For TEM2, I'll make it go directly to the World Menu..!
