Hello,

When I make tournaments have a "best rank" sometimes higher-ranked players can still play. For example, I have a category with best rank = 13, but someone ranked 6th and 9th played. How can I prevent this?

1- players queue 1 week before start of tournament, so their ranking on that week can be slightly lower than the following week

2- if there's not enough players in a tournament, then players better than "BestRank" will be called ; it's not avoidable.

There is another problem though, much worse. I have it set up so that only certain tournaments give Race points, and others give Entry points (don't ask, it's for a specific purpose). So I have the top 8 Race players play in a Master Cup tournament. Every time though, it take the top 7 Race, and then puts in the #1 Entry Rank player, even though he has 0 Race points. Every time, even though there are plenty of other players with Race points. It's only the #1 Entry Rank player who plays. I don't want him there--it seems to be a bug.

Can you please help? It's messing up this tour for me and what I'm trying to do. Thanks!

I should add that the #1 Entry Rank player (who shouldn't be there) always takes the #8 spot. It's always the top 7 in Race, and then the #1 Entry Rank player, even though there are others with Race points.

The rule is that the 8th spot is reserved to the best ranked that won a grand slam and is not in the Top 7. If all grand slam winners are in the Top 7, then the 8th best ranked player is picked instead.

So I guess you removed all race points for Grand Slams..?

Maybe you could try to create a fake Grand Slam type of tournament, but you'll likely run into other kinds of problem (with stats at least).
