yup, i'm working on a Tennis Manager.
This game will let you become a tennis coach, and you have to take care of your player(s), train them, choose the tournaments they should play, hire a team and buy equipment...

I'm planning to release an Alpha version to test the basics of the gameplay within 1 or 2 months.
Once it'll be ready, there'll be an announcement in these forums ! ;-)

Nice... I've played that boxing menager demo and seems fun although I'm not fun of that sport... Is it going to look like that? if yes, great (maybe a little bit better graphics :))
Oh and is it going to be possible to actually PLAY in TM? or just watch or see the result?

In TM it would definately be cool if there were interviews and fame (stuff like that). That would be really realistic.

I'm afraid the graphics of TEM (Tennis Elbow Manager) won't be so great. They'll be similar to the ones of Tennis Elbow 2005 menus.

We won't see our players on the court, and even less be able to play matchs with them. The main reason is that it's almost impossible to make the score simulation gives consistent results with the on-court play of Tennis Elbow (even in CPU vs CPU).
The 1st purpose of TEM will be to take care of our players, and find the best training for them to be the more efficient during the matches.
The on-going matchs will be only represented by the score in games (ie : 0/0 , then 1/0, then 1/1, etc...), with information to show when a break is done.

In TM it would definitely be cool if there were interviews and fame

Interviews, I don't think so...
But there will be fame for the coach (so, for example, the top #10 players could accept or reject to be coached by you), and for the players (to get a good sponsor, and eventually have the crown support to get a moral bonus, or stuff like that).

Yeah I guess interviews would be pushing it...but it sounds great. Can you actually train your players (so that they get better at certain skills?

yup, it'll be the core of the game.
Every day (during tournament) or every week (during training week), you'll have a certain number of hours to spend in training. You'll have to choose how to spend them : train a strike, do jogging, work out, etc...
