How does Motivation work?

Postby El_Dada » 23 Feb 2009, 19:00

I ask this because I've won several tournaments in a row while keeping my bank account positive every week (even if i'm not playing any tournament) but i still have medium-to-low motivation, even reaching high is complicated not to mention that i haven't seen my motivation in Very High in a long time.

I modified some values in Tennis.ini, but i don't see how they affected my motivation gaining, i hope you can answer me. Thanks in advance.

pd: English is not my first language, so if i made some mistakes please excuse me. :)

I also have problems like this. In the documentaion it says that flying first class, staying in five star hotels and traveling with your coach or a trainer helps to boost Motivation. I find that changes take place over months, not weeks.

If traveling with trainer, the higher his primary modifier, which I think runs from 10%-25%, the more bonus he will give you. I am not certain, but I believe traveling with the coach gives a 25% bonus, and I am nearly certain that coach and trainer bonuses do not add; they just get the better of the two.

in no particular order, motivation raises with :
- sleeping in 5* hotels & travel in 1st class
- having enough money for leisure
- reaching semifinals or better
- taking holidays ( = long week-end), but not too much
- playing tournament often enough
- playing tournament with coach & team

By this, do you mean having a week off from playing tournaments? :?
