Yes, I think so, too.

I believe the problem with this is that all of the available tournament slots are already being used. To add the Olympics every fourth year you would probably have to drop two existing tournaments every year.

(Olympics count as a two week tournament, do they not? Maybe not, because there is no qualifier? I do not know.)

The olympics are a one week event.
