Hey Manutoo, congrats for the game, it's great, and it's editing capability makes it even greater.

1.- I'm trying to create a new surface for the Australian Open (maybe you should include it in your next update), Outdoor Carpet (Outdoor Synthetic, maybe...), which gives the baseline players and counters more advantage (this was made to favor Hewitt's style of play). How I add a new court? And what does the parameters mean?

2.- Why when I see the courts .ini the service parameter always displays 0? I think in grass and fast synth/cement courts big servers should have an advantage, hence in bad servers (Nadal), should be penalized.

3.- If I edit a player years ranking (12, 2, 3, 5, 7, etc...) should I edit the high ranking to reflect the new higher ranking?

4.- There are some mistakes in player's D.O.B. (to make regens I understand), the thing is that there are some players in the Top100 right now with that kind of mistakes (Tsonga, Querrey, Bellucci, etc...)

5.- Does the Ranking per Year of a doubles specialist (Bryan's Brothers), affect his single rankings? How to reduce that impact?

Hello chaodck,

1- add a Data\Court08\Court.ini . Only [Physics]SurfaceSpeed is used by the game engine, ignore all the other values. Set SurfaceSpeed to -0.5 if you want it to be slower than the actual one.
Add the reference to [Court] in the Tour.ATP & WTA.Ini, and in the tournament you want to change .
Add icon Menu\Art\Ico\Court07.tga & Court07s.tga, and background Menu\Art\bg\Court07.jpg .
Add the references to these files in Menu\Global.Def and Menu\CourtBg.menu (I just added them, so they'll be there in next update of TEM as well)

2- [BonusSkill] values were used by TE2006 to compute the rally force of the players, thus the service is 0

4- yup, a good bunch of birth dates are random, not real ones ; if you want to fix them and send me the updated Players.ini , it'll be quite welcome !
