Top players like Federer, Nadal, Djokovic and Murray play too many tournaments in the game, they play a lot of 250 tournaments, and this is not very real.. In Tennis Elbow 2011 in some Mods i noticed that this has been changed in a good way, in fact the "fab four" were playing only the most important tournaments.

In my save game:
Federer 20 Tournaments played
Nadal 22 Tournaments played
Djokovic 23 Tournaments played
Murray 22 Tournaments played

Too many, if you think the schedule of Roger and Novak this year is only with 16..

P.s. Davis cup points doesnt count in the game.. need to fix it too

And they play also all the doubles tournaments.. they should play doubles once or twice in a year... the same also for doubles players like the Bryan brothers, they should play few singles tournaments the same.

Remember that any tour and player.ini mods for TE2011/13 are compatible with TEM, so you could just add in the ones from Sam' patch or whatever (if you don't mind losing your saved game).

Yes but there were the old players (now there are Tomic and the others)... so i wait to see it for 2013...

I won't change the n° of tournaments played ; for the top 10, it's around 16-25 per year, it's close enough ; your player also can play a lot of tournaments per year, so it's balanced for the difficulty.

For the singles/doubles of the doubles specialists, look like I messed up something coz they are back to the default values which allows them to play a few too much singles per year... I'll put them back to older values in next update.

For the singles specialists, it's not really bad if they play a bit too much doubles...

You can change a lot of that easily by changing the SingleDouble values in the Data\Players.ini.

I know..but it's insane to see Federer playing Stuttgart, Bastad, Montpellier or Nice for example.. that's insane..

The tournaments choiche of the player is completely random or not? Because in my game Federer didn't play Basel in 10 years

I checked and he couldn't prefer Basel coz the other tournament of the same week got 10% more prize... I'll tune that for next update !

Yes its true and not like the real Tour.. it deservs a fix

Federer is still not playing Basel.

I checked again & actually his favorite surface is Valencia, not Basel, so I'll increase the country preference over the surface preference in next update.

You shuld try this patch on TE 2013, in this game the schedule of the players is very realistic, they play the right number of tournament and in most of the occasions on the right surface. The problem with TEM exists, it's impossible to see Federer playing in San Josè, Umago or tournaments like these... you shuold check and see

If you're talking about the SamPatch, it works mainly only for 1 years (or a couple) and a few top players, while the original game has to work over 38 years with all the different top players of all different eras...

It's not possible to fix then?

No, it works fine for all the years.. Top players play only top tournaments
