R1: Ivo ISNER def. TennisStar 6-0 6-1
Despite the score, he has nice potential, the connection wasn't perfect today, and I guess I was luckier. Nice way to start my comeback though. GG+GL to a fair player.

Well, it was definitely a hard road ... Rogger is really on fire these days and I reached with luck the finals.

Tournament Summary

by Heinrich von Westphalen
R2 Heinrich von Westphalen def. Dawid L. 7/6 7/5
After we fixed his stats :fear: he played wonderful tennis out of the blue. Creative tennis, good anticipation and right the good amount of pressure. Lovely match and keep it up!

QF Heinrich von Westphalen def. D@nnnn 6/4 6/3
Next Polish guy and since we've met in Barcelona he increased the creativity on court perceptible. He just couldn't hold the level through the long rallies on clay. All the best to you I'm wondering what's going on in Poland.

SF Heinrich von Westphalen def. Rogger 7/5 2/6 7/6
Never seen such a remarkable performance by Rogger, which reminded me painfully to the American ball machine ffzzpp. 150+ km/h shots left, right, left into the corners ... could barely breathe and had to unwrap my best defence to win this match. Definitely my best match in 2016, my respect for Rogger's performance and his sportsmanship on- and offcourt. All the best.

F Heinrich von Westphalen def. ShoNe 6/1 6/3
According to his recent success in Monte Carlo I went with a lot of respect into this match even though I never felt really uncomfortable with him on court. Trying to take control over the rallies I rushed through the first set in the knowledge he's a smart guy and will try to find a solution. Serving for the match at 6/1 5/1 (40-30) I decrease the tensity which was immediately used by ShoNe to fight back to 5/3. So thumbs up for the fighting spirit and all the best on your way up to the top.

Next station is Madrid which will be another opportunity for me to find my form on the journey back to the #1 spot.

Kind regards,
Heinrich von Westphalen.
