Problem with backhand slice

Hello,

Version 1.0f:

When a ball comes cross on my backhand and I try to slice it back, I quite regularly simply miss the ball. It happens mainly with higher bouncing balls, whereas speed does not seem to play a role. Even when playing as Steffi Graf very weak 2nd serves can become an ace, and I do not really see how I could have missed there "myself". It also happens with several backhand styles, as far as I can tell
Does anybody else have this problem? Or an idea about how to correct it?

It would also be nice if slice shots would be more effective. Especially when playing ATP, it is very hard to play dangerous slice shots.

But all in all, TE is a great game. Keep up the good work!

Hello manutoo,

Thanks for the quick reply. Attached please find a dmo file (61 kb). At 0-2 0-40, Ivana Visic (CPU) blasts a 122 km/h second serve that Steffi Graf (poor me!) fails to return, even though she seems to be well placed. A second example is at deuce in the first game, at 6m12s when Steffi fails a forehand slice return (120 km/h).

Thanks for having a look at this!

Hey I just wanted to also say ive had this same issue in game. I play fed relentlessly tho, and often times as IRL with him when I am returning serve, i will try to slice back hand a first serve to take the pace off the ball and get in position. But sometimes in game, the ball just goes way over my racket even when I am good position to hit the slice back-hand.

Hopefully this can be fixed :D
