ELO Bug

Hi Manutoo, i was playing against Morris, i had ELO 1440 going into the match. He had around 1500 of i remmember correctly.

The point is when i reached 6-3 in the Tiebreak, he did something that froze the game, then it said connection lost, and i had +2. When i went to play again my ELO was -20 so it was 1420...
Why that happens?

It never appear that he retired when i believe it should have.
And why i had my ELO substacted -20

This match took place an hour ago.

Regards.

Hello,

are you sure you had 1440 ?
If you got disconnected before, you got a small ELO penalty...

Finally i got this Manutoo, it was the SAM patch which was installed according to the procedure.

But the problem is/was that i did it on the Tennis Elbow 2011 folder (modded) and installed the original version in another folder Tennis Elbow 2011 copy (original), both folders had the same Key, but i never played online with the modded game.

But somehow your online server would keep reading that mana.DAT file (in the modded game folder) which pointed out to a 1420 ELO (all the time because i never played online with it), eventhough i could win a couple of matches with the original version and get to 1440 something but then it would move me back to 1420 after a short while.

Regards

Yes they were both running the .d latest release.. In fact to install the mod i previously uninstalled the game and resintalled (like SAM's patch procedure said).

Oh yup, I think I found the reason, it seems the ELO is not propagated correctly in some cases. I'll try to fix this for next update.
