Game Crash

Postby PunkSkaPhil » 03 Mar 2007, 22:04

Since downloading the lastest update last weekend (25th Feb), I get the following Program Error popup:

The program met an unhandled exception.
Crash logged in file "System.log".

This happens at the beginning of a new tournament (when it shows the tournament draw before showing your latest profile/skills, and then your opponent's profile/skills), and also after playing a match and going to look at the draw through the 'Tournaments of the week' section.

The game then closes down back to Windows. Loading the game again takes me back to the position I was in before choosing the new tournament (i.e. the final draw/results of the previous tournament is displayed in the 'Tournaments of the week' section).

Hello,

the update of 25th had a bug in it, and the game has been updated again since then, so you should download it again.

If it's still crashing, you should then load a game a couple of weeks before your current week, if you have a saved game.
And if not, then u could send me your current saved game, I'll have a look to see if it's possible to correct it.

And in Tennis Elbow 2006 I try to create a serve, but it doesn't say "highest ping allow: 250 ms" :roll:

@babyboy :

Do you have Tennis Elbow 2006 or Tennis Elbow Manager ..?
When the crash happens ? On loading ?
If TE2006, then install the game again, it should fix the trouble.
If TEM, download the latest version, install it, and it should also fix the trouble.

If it's something else, you should give me more precisions about when this bug happens...

@Santiago92 :
I don't know where you got TE2005, but if it's a pirate version, it's normal it's crashing in the World Tour... :roll:

In TE2006, if you want to change the max allowed ping, then turn the "Advanced Options" on within the "Misc Menu"...

I have the TEM game. When I start this game, the bug comes on my screen and the game shut down.

Hello jhenin01,

Could you send your current saved game (compressed in .Rar or .zip) to the email address you got license key from ?
It should be in : "C:\Program Files\Tennis Elbow 2009\Profiles\Default\WT_Current.Sav", or in the "Wta" subfolder if you play with women.

So I could look into the bug, and probably fix it...
