full screen lag in 3d court

when i play in full screen on a 23" monitor with 3D court, the lag is very apparent. the players movement become quite jagged. the graphic card is ATI Radeon 4330 512mb of memory. I did not have this problem before. is there anything that the game can do other than playing in an empty stadium?
