I'm playing in a tournament and in the rankings it says I'm ranked No. 10 in the world, but on the tournament is says I'm ranked No. 11 and seeded that way. Is there a reason for this?

i guess everyone has this problem. sometimes when you don't play a tournament during a week on world tour, you go up ranking spots and earn random points on the rankings. did you see this when you restarted the application or opened TE as you started up your PC? normally after restarting TE, the ranking points have been counted correctly. this bug has been here for awhile.

although manu knows about this (or should at least),can you please fix this?

For the seed, this is correct. Or almost correct... I'm not sure if in real it's done, 1 week earlier, or 2 weeks earlier. In game, it's done 1 week earlier.
For the ranks, this is also done 1 week earlier, but maybe I should update them at tournament start...
