I mean you all are sliding?? lol can someone tell me how the f*** you guys slide or wtv

It's not really a huge problem, it's only in certain conditions, like with higher ping I suppose, and most noticeable when moving a bigger distance. When moving side to side you stop pressing the button and your player still moves further. It's very hard to time when to stop pressing, it's like another game within TE. lol It's only a problem when going for an acceleration.

I guess with the new update we'll see more of that. :? ':D

If I may beep in here, (Stajus) there is a way to delicately stop after having run to the side in online game play (useful in World Tour also, Stajus). You all seem to be saying that in online game play you have to run so quickly to return the ball and then prepare for the shot that you don't have much control of the final position of your player when the run had ended and the strike occurs. I think you are saying that you just hold the buttons down to run, then release them, and press the strike keys. Well, there is a grey area here that I have discovered. It is possible to run in slow motion, also.

beep :!:

As a reminder... When you play with a Lag of 117ms, all controls react with 117ms of delay ; so if u press right, u'll have to wait 117ms before your player start to run to the right, and after u stop to press right, you'll have to wait 117ms before you see him just starting to slowing down... It always has been like this (since TE2006) & it'll be always like this...

PS: not sure what happened around here but I had to clean a bit this topic, a good bunch of post have been deleted... :fear:

I really dislike the new movement in offline mode. It's much more difficult now. anyway you can change it to where it's like that only in online matches

What makes it so frustrating is that the computer player doesn't seem to have the same problem.

jenks10s365, it's possible to change it, but really not easily, so it'd be better if you could play a bit more, you will likely get used to it after a while.

Offline, the CPU inertia is identical to the Human's one. It's much easier to take him on his wrong foot now.
Online, the CPU doesn't suffer any Delay, but doesn't enjoy the Anti-Delay neither...

Is there any way you could put a poll on whether or not the movement should be changed back to the way it was before? It almost feels like a different game now and is nearly impossible to win a point now when you get put into a defensive position. This update isn't a change for the better.

jenks10s365, except you, almost no one complained about this... You can create an account on the forum, so you'll be able to create a poll about this topic, though, if u want to check by urself...
