Automatic Forfeit

Postby aarondmsu » 10 Jun 2015, 11:07

I'm having an issue with one of my career saves. Whenever I start a new match, after about two seconds, the announcer announces "game, set and match, player 2," the match summary screen pops up and shows that I lost the match in straight sets. So essentially, it's forfeiting my matches automatically. I am not having this issue with my other career saves. Any ideas?

I actually figured out the issue. In the tourXX.ini file associated with your career save, if the number next to "InMatch" is 1, it forfeits your match. If it's 0, it will let you play.

Hello,

it sounds like an old bug.
Do you have the latest version of the game ? (ie: v1.0f)
Or maybe you're loading a very old saved game ?

Yea, I am using version 1.0f. This happened on a career save that I have been playing a lot of lately. I started tinkering around with saving crel's courts in the data file and then inserting them in the tournaments in the tour.ATP.ini file, but I never changed anything in any of the files in the Profile folder. Somehow, the InMatch got changed to 1. I have no idea how that happened but after changing it back to 0, it's working fine now.

InMatch means there's a saved match to reload to get the current score.
Maybe there's still a bug in there when the user switches to different saved game... :fear:
If you get it with an unmodded game, you can send me your saved games, I'll have a look.
Is it possible that you may have clicked "quit" then quickly pressed "esc" key to select "continue later" ? This sequence may save the "quit" and repeat it when you reload your match.

That's a possibility. In any event, it's fixed now. Thanks.
