TE 2009 wont open, gives "error" message

Postby Ben » 14 May 2009, 01:00

I have had this game for a few months and really like it. However, the last few days when trying to open it, it says "error, not enough free memory space". It says I need 256 MB, even though I have 17GB of free space on my hard drive. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Are you using an older computer? Having 512mb or less RAM could be causing this.

Also, you could be running many programs which are taking up space, or worse have some virus/spyware using your resources.

A lack of virtual memory can cause this also... cured by defragging your HD. Although with 17GB open, I doubt that.

Hello,

I guess you downloaded & started to install the latest version of the game, but the installation didn't succeed and you didn't notice.

So to fix all of this, could you try to install the latest version of the game, while making sure the game isn't running and well closed during the installation process ..?
You can download it from the website.
