Tennis players don't hold...a racket :s

when I start a new game (training/career, doesn't matter), the players display but they don't hold a racket, only a steel (quite freaky). Moreover, the top of their heads seems a bit topped off (even more freakier). any idea what's the issue here? thanks a lot

Update your game and re-install the mod/s you are using.

I've just downloaded the game (latest 2013 Mac version 1.0e), with no specific modifications, so how could a re-install help me getting rid of this issue?

could you launch the game, see a player with a wrong racket, close the game, then post in this topic the "System.log" that is in your game folder (you'll have to create an account on the Forum to be able to attach file to your posts).
Also, if possible, post a screenshot showing the issue.
