All in subject.
I started an online game, camera was 3rd person, though I always use scrolling and I'm certain I wasn't trying that one out.
Tried switching it, it wouldn't work.
Tried overriding it to default, it worked to do so, but I can't change it to other camera, just modify its aperture, zoom parameters within the same camera.

My system.log is attached, I guess it'd help

maybe some bad stuff happened in your Tennis.ini .
Could you check if these entries are like that under [Camera] :

AutoClearCustom   =   1   // Clear Custom Camera on Camera Setting Changes

..?
If not, set them back to 0 & 1, respectively.

Custom is set to 1 if you save a 2D camera settings in DevMode.
