Error in Match Statistics--found reason why

In the match statistics, sometimes there is an Error credited to the computer even if he wins all the points! This has bugged me for some time now, but I found out why this happens. It happens on the last point of the match. If the CPU hits a winner on the last point of the match, the word "Fault!" comes up in the message box on the top of the screen. A split second later, the Match Statistics shows up. And even though the CPU beat me 7-0 in the tiebreak, it says he has an unforced error.
I have noticed this at the end of matches (after the last point is over), the word "Fault!" coming up in the message box regardless of whether there is an error or a winner.

Hello Brad1981,

thanks for this detailed bug report, that's worth new 2 settings in the Tennis.ini , under [Game], with the Build 22 :
SweetSpotRadius = 2.5
SweetSpotScale = 0.05

Radius of the sweet spot, the bigger, the easier.
Scale of the sweet spot difficulty, the bigger, the more difficult.

.... ;)

Thanks Manu! I feel as if the holidays have come early for me :wink:
Yea, I really like tweaking around with the settings. Sometimes I like Simulation, sometimes I like Arcade, but it's great to be able to have the freedom to choose, and I appreciate it.
May I ask, what are the minimum and maximum values for each of these settings? And does this also apply to the CPU player, so that he can have an expanded sweet spot?

Hello,

these settings apply to all players, and are ignored during online play.

SweetSpotRadius is the radius in centimeter of the sweet spot. So the value can be between 0 cm ( = no sweet spot) to 150 cm ( = all body is the sweet spot).
SweetSpotScale scales the sweet spot malus when not hitting within the sweet spot. I guess u can set it from 0 (no malus) to 0.1 when the radius is at 2.5cm ( = strong malus).
