R3: Sorana Cîrstea [8] def. Tatishvilli[10] 6-1 6-1

Solid playing by him, it was a harder match than the score looks but I played better in important matches.
GG & GL in the rest of the season :)

My opponents from 2nd round last visited the forum on 27 July and 28 August (but before the draw was made :fear: )

Love,
Sori :love9:

Great Run Sorana...close to making the final too...u surprised me as I thought I were playing badly...but ur SF performance indicated u have really improved. I am sure you'll have another chance soon. You have a really gd doubles game (not much spamming) and I did learnt a bit of net movement from our match this time I think :D

But too late now since I have decided not to play doubles anymore becoz I dont enjoy the long spamming rallies. Gl to other dubs players. I'll play singles still if I have time though (I am improving there, watch out 8-) ) :D

Thanks for nice words , Mark. Yes, it was a great tournament for me and yea, i was close to make the surprise in the semifinal, even in first set i played quite bad in important moments.... I rissed my level in the 2nd and 3rd set, especilly in 2nd when I told myself that I have to change something and I became really agressive. In the 2nd set I played my best tennis ever and nevertheless was hard to win that set (i was 4-2 up then he was up 5-4 and it was hard to win that game at 5-4 and in the tb ShoNe was 5-3 up and also had a mp but i succeded in winning that tb somehow :D and in 3rd, he was 3-0 up but then i won next 4 games and there were another 2 breaks in 11th and 12th games which led us again to the tb: it was definitely a lottery but he played amazing and won first 6 points , my partener tryed 2 dropshots which converted into winners by ShoNe's cpu and was a bit dissapointing to lose 6-7 in 3rd but never mind, it was a good match and good tournament.

And about your decision, I don't think you should stop, maybe you're just in bad form and need to find a rythm of play(it happened to me in first part of the year) . At least, you're top 5 player and it proves you're great. I'm looking forward for your progress in singles, hope I'll improve my singles skills too :D

Love,
Sori:love9:
