He has flexibility... plus he doesnt compete a lot in singles... so his decisions will be unbiased...

Well...I know that the new mod job is not that big as a start but in general as i don't have much time and i get banned frequently (for unknown reasons ), I would like to support The Joker...Someone who has the mentality of playing his matches without seeking RL/WO and who respects the deadlines is all what the tour needs now...also nice post MarkChan you look like you have a good potential for this position . GL to whoever becomes the new mod.

Integrity and taking into account the best interest of tour players to maximise fairness wherever possible, I believe, are traits that make an effective and respectable moderator. I think MarkChan seems to meet this brief. He's also not afraid to stand up on what he believes is injustice and always look at issues in more than one angle before making the best possible decision. Moreover, he seems passionate and open with ideas and discussions which are interesting at times.

On another related matter, in my opinion, I feel like the management of the tour can be made more efficient/organised by having more than just three mods on the job. By doing this, we can improve the availability of the moderator base (eg. a better chance that a certain mod is available at a certain time when the other mods aren't - or if one moderator isn't available due to illness, another mod can cover for him/her for the day instead of giving the job to another already-busy mod) to look after match deadlines and to answer for queries in a more timely manner.

if i were to pick, if not me , it would probably be jonnyboy. He is a super fair person, and he has a good mind set for being a tour mod. Mark is a very nice and fair person too, but those changes will be hard to implement on tour.

There's visible queue on ITST. That's why I always believe it is feasible.
As for the possible new rules, if we can implement the prohibition of corner serving, I don't see why it can be extended to other problematic ways of serving/returning serve. And I don't think we should back down just because these changes are new or not easy to be implemented. I also believe many of these co-called difficulties are merely excuses from lazy mods. If I were the new mod, I would be responsible and really devote my efforts to the job.
I'd use one example here. Players' RL chances should be reduced if they do it the 2nd time in the same tournament. But I never see mods implement it. Is that difficult to implement? I believe not. It is just laziness. (not checking the result of the previous round)

But as I have said, I am not trying to force any new rules. The players would decide whether they should be implemented. The premise is that I would allow and create room for more transparent and open discussion if I were the new mod. In the end what matters is that the majority's interests will always be considered and prioritized. I hope that solves your confusion.

What do u want to point out? I have read all the rules. And I saw some players used two RL in the same tournament without getting his chance reduced in the 2nd RL. Plain and Simple.

As I have said, I accept criticism and queries, if they are justified. So it's ok for me. And If I am honored to be the new mod, I won't delete posts just because someone is not writing something favorable to me.

Nothing. Apparantly I misunderstood. (implement means in German "to embed sth which does not yet exist")

Hi everyone , I vote for Markchan
he is fair and always online. And he listens to people's opinions and this changes would be good for the tour. without forgot that he's never banned also he have a good communication with all players on tour and most of time a free time .

i suport marckan also he is good man
