Fantastic volleying from him. I think he is the best active volleyer on tour. So unpredictable and so magical. And he doesn't even need a big serve from his partner to set it up (which also explains his partner's solid performances when he has gd stats in other aspects.)

But I did have chance in the 1st set, leading 6-5* 40-15, adv-40. But I have wasted all 3 set points, including a point where his partner hit a volley to the tape of the net and the ball bounced high but somehow landed in by catching the line. It is hard to concentrate after losing such a dramatic set. And my partner's serve didn't show up. His fastest serve was 221kmh today when he can serve up to 234kmh normally while Dr. Ivo's partner barely misses a dropshot volley. Not my day I guess and credit to his fantastic volleying and net coverage (surreal jumping from right to left to volley a winner off my short-angled return of serve). GL in the rest of the tournament. Hope to play with you again in the future.
