Hi, im new here.
I absolutely felt in love with that online tennis tour.
Today is my very first day practicing playing TE online.

Could you tell me how long time was between your beggining and your first won match in tour.
After 30 matches it seems for me to be impossible to defeat sb >1500 ELO. Just impossible.
Today I won against players <1000, lose but with kind of competition with guys 1000-1200, and rest was ... ughm uncompetitive.
My best match was when I faced Sorana Cirstea (150 in rank) I lost but 2-6 (20pts - 30pts)

I have huge problem with returning. Opponents make 2 aces per game. Also i use two first serves because 2nd one was killed by opponents. That makes large amount of DF.

Its hard to handle those 0-6 xD particulary when sb at the end of match write to you 'that was deserved'. Its much easier when you lost 7-6(5) than all those 0-6 ;p

Don't be disappointed ... every player on this tour started in the same manner as you do. Practise and find your style, don't compare with masters and have fun ... and that's all. Last year I got one bagel after another ... now there are only a few (active) players like Kuga or Nadalesque who are able to bagel me. You will increase your level, be patient.

Thats sooooo hard ;-] Even harder than winning one game.

After 5 bagels in a row i feel totally useless and mentaly destroyed.
This is the feeling between helplessness, anger and cry.
That would be better for my psychic if I stay with playing offline.

So find your level and play w/ players near your ELO ...

Each match there are less players with elo like mine xD.

I have huge problem with rallies. Even if at the beggining im competitve - the closer to the end the less points from rallies im getting.
Today I loose 3 matches from *4-2.

I try combing acceleration shot with short acceleration shot when im in good position. My opponents shots touch lines, mine go far from lines or out.

Also each dropshot by opponent leads to his win.

Im not crying, just feel helpless, everything i do my opponent can do better , but on the other hand I hope each match this feeling will get smaller and smaller.
I dont give up and do some training. Didnt lost any part of my attention. Within 4 days I played circa 80 matches.
If you meet me on court, i would be very glad if you tell me even smallest tips about my game what im doing wrong, what could be better.

I hope that soon I'll be capable to win games in quali of future tournaments, and this topic will be a motivator for all begginers like I'm today. Like diary of progress from crying cat to kid who know how to handle dropshot ;-p

By the way. I have a question about setting up my player. I know that there should stay 780 points. I set all forhand, serve, bakchand, psychical abilities to 100% so i have about 70% points that left. Im not volleyer, what should be better dropshot, lob or counter?

My player is a counter.
I'm combining acceleration with short acceleration when im in good position.
Actually im typical ballbasher ;p Cross, cross, along line, cross, along line. When ball is close to me and i can make a good postion I try short acceletarion.4
Im avoiding going to the net. My dropshots are worthless, but i make a little progress with anticipating opponents dropshots.

Im getting better and better.

Best elo win? 1300 guy.
For last 3 days I dont lose with anybody <1000 ELO.
Still I have poor skills, but now I put more effort into anticipation and tactic.
I love when I'm weaponless in first few games, and then I find tactic that works! Hope that I'll be able to win a game in tournament.

2) Sometimes my opponent doesnt see preview of ball and I see it. I was blamed of 'cheating' but I dont know whats going on, and is it my fault?
3) Today I met great topspin player. What is the tactic for his topspin shots? Slices?
4) Sometimes guys go to the line and serve with high angle. Today I played twice with 'Raonic' and won that matches but only because i had advantage in rallies. I dont know where, but I read that this is forbidden in tournaments. Am I right or not?

Yep, I know that and always make settings as in tour. But that was strange. On my side there was preview, but on the opponents side there wasnt it. Bug or I did sth wrong?

Heh. So still looking for a clue . Actually I started my play here with max topspin but then I realized that i need more acceleration, and change settings to 0%.

Yes, that was clear serving from corner. Thanks for your explaination.

Guys, I have anouther question.

How do you play against guys who stay far behind the line?
My dropshots are useless, and today I was killed twice in a row by this great defensive style.
From *5-1 through 2 match points to 6-7(0) cause guy started to play behind the line.
Nothing worked, and in tibreak i was destroyed mentally.

Mixing long shots 1+2 with short shots 1 works quite well.
Im such a terrible net player. Today I have 19% of points from net actions ;-] . When I have opponent close to net i panic and totally dont know how to pass him.

I won my first match in tournament.

In first round of qualifications in Genova Challanger i won match against Sorana ([1] in qualifications draw, 138. in ranking) 2-6 6-2 6-3
Im so proud of myself.
