Hi, due to the Fair mode change, we have to check what settings do we want to use next season.

Fair mode
- Backhand skills remapped to 15-65% (power, consistency and precision)
- Forehand and service skills to 20-70% (same)
- All the rest to 25-75%

Realistic mode
- All skills are remapped to 30-90%

Note: "remapped" means that if you set a skill to 0 in your character sheet it will then be either 15, 20, 25 or 30% (according to the skill and the mode) while playing online. If you set it to 100, it will be 65, 70, 75 or 90%.

Tiredness
- Makes your shots (specially accelerations) be less effective if you get 'tired' (i.e as energy bars drops) by making them harder to aim and a bit slower. Energy bars lowers by playing long rallies and using too much accelerated shots. They recover after swapping-ends games and at the end of a set.


Elite controls
- Aiming is less accurate than with simulation controls
- Standing inside Danger Zone gives more penalties on aiming accuracy and ball speed, and produce more errors
- Off-centering the ball gives more penalties as well

This poll will work almost as a referendum, most voted options will be most likely the ones we will use. You have 3 votes, use 2 of them for your 2 most preferred modes, and the last one for the kind of preview you want to use.

I changed "as a referendum" to "almost as a referendum" : no need to try to temper the votes, creating fake account, bring back users who don't play on the Tour anymore, etc...
Also, votes from people who actually played the different game modes might weight more, so please try out all settings (Realistic vs Fair, Tiredness On vs Off, Simulation vs Elite) in a few matches before to cast your vote.

I also raised the number of choices to 3 (from 2), so you can choose your 2 preferred game modes in addition of the preview mode ; this should give a more accurate result of what is the best choice to please the most people.

Also, Preview won't be turned off (why is explained here : topic8-9999.php ) ; Danger Zone won't probably be turned off either, except if there's a very high percentage of votes against it.

Wow, the 2 persons who had voted "Fair mode + tiredness on + elite controls" must be very persuasive.

We set it like this because the winning settings on the poll made the game way too easy and arcadish to be good advertising (what I mean: if this game has always been about realism, having arcadish settings is contradictory) and I could assure you less funny for midrange to top level players.
With these, we've the newcomers-friendliness of fair mode plus a rather hard aiming controls which balances the game nicely.

Fair mode + tiredness off + simulation controls (current)= 24 votes
Fair mode + tiredness on + elite controls=2 votes

Hey is a new year,we should try something new....after Doha/Brisbane if we will not like this we will modify....so pls stay calm!!!

i don't know what do you mean with stay calm it's new year yes but you should respect our poll we had chose fair mod with sum and tir off i think i know now who are this 2 players it should be fair mode + sum+ tir off cauz some players and me too play with 60 &65 in stamina !!!!

A quick additional explanation of our choices :
- some pep voted several times, thinking we wouldn't notice, so the result you see is actually not correct ; we even got a spam bot voting
- if you add the real results, you get about the same number of votes for Realistic & Fair (we didn't take into account the last minute votes that have been made after the New Settings were announced)
- So the choice was between Fair / Simulation vs Realistic / Simulation
- Fair/Sim is better for newcomers & the average players, and Real/Sim is better for top players
- we wanted to keep the Tour as much as possible newcomer friendly, while maintaining an interesting gameplay for top players, so we thought we'd try out the step between Fair/Sim & Real/Sim which is Fair/Elite
- Elite isn't much harder than Sim, so you should likely get acquainted with it fast enough ; in "easy" matches (ie: not against a much better opponent) you might even not really notice much the difference
- And lastly, about Tiredness on, it brings more variety & realism to the game ; more than 50% of online games are played with it, so it's really time that the Official Online Tour uses it

Hi manu with all respect this season won't be good look many players quit the tournament just cauz sometimes the rules not be fair ok you say much players voted several times but why we have just 2 in Fair mode + tiredness on + elite controls so why you don't choose other option you should know this new rules will be perfect just to defender players cauz thier stamina is 100 or 90

1st this game needed a change, AGES AGO, which neither mohammed anyone did except for Algo who ALWAYS tried a change. This tour is BORING, always the same no changes nothing new, EVERYONE STOP COMPLAINING and try something new. If you're a top player you're good to play in ANY situation, and in Tenis always remember "The wind changes" so you never know which situations your gonna be in and if we want a STRONGER BETTER Tour, only Elite Controls can make EVERYONE Improve so stop complainning everyone. Everyone will try and enjoy how good is to play a REALISTIC game, where guys get TIRED, MISS and MAKE ERRORS...It's a simulation game so it's supposed to be real.It's the problem of this game, people are SCARED of changes, comes an update everyone complains bla bla, everytime something changes u complain and complain and complain.

Hah, i can`t believe, when I was voting for fair mode + tiredness on + elite controls i didn't believe there will be anyone else voting for this mode, and let alone that it will be set as default for tour.. hah, unbelievable
You are right Algo, this game is about realistic simulation, not arcade.. to bad till now tour was set to be little more arcadish, but its never late for upgrades toward better.. and to bad some time ago I gave up on my lonely persistence for elite controls and started playing on previous default mod - simulation controls because tour, after much time playing on elite..
Well.. think new environment will bring us something positive, as Maria/Ricardo said changes can be good, and if you got through last updates on this game witch brought to us more realistic sim, you should much easier got used to this way, and after some time you will consider it as your default, and it will be more realistic.. and changes will little refresh tour, so.. everyone wins, hah

haha, I paid lot of money, lobbied, send threatening letters, and voted more than once (as you can see 2 times).. and in the middle of my preparing for kidnapping, decision was made..
But later I found out it was wrong person, and accidentally Manuto made same decision by himself..
