Reserve QF: Nader def. Bassem 6-0 ret.

Well he wasn't in form today, he made many errors and his partner didn't help him as well.
Plus, he told me from the beginning that if i win the 1st set he will ret. as he had to play his singles match. :P
Anyways, GG and GL in singles :jap: .

Reserve QF: Dr.Ivo def. Mario Ancic 6-3,6-0! :D

Great match for me, very bad for him, he didnt play good and he wasnt very lucky, everything went my way from 2-3 down in the first set :D I had a lot of net cords, sorry for that  There were a lot of great rallies and points, solid match...i played very well as the result shows  It seemed to be a tense match in the beginning, but i crushed him in 2nd set...my partner was better than his and he missed a lot of volleys and i didnt on the other side...

1.set...he started great with completely dominating the first 2 games, i couldnt do anything...then, i responded with some nice shots to get it back to 2-2...then he won his last game of the match and from then on i completely dominated, his concentration level dropped dramaticaly when i broke him for 4-3, i managed to break him with ease again at 5-3 when he did a DF :bounce: He was also maybe a bit demoralized with my net cords, sorry again

2.set...he started too nervous and he made a lot of errors, that gave me a chance to have a quick 3-0 lead and i didnt do anything special...things were pretty much over at that point as he started to play even worse and i didnt miss anything so i broke him again and held easily for 5-0...he had chances to win the last game, but i stopped him from doing that with a few great shots, including a lob winner on MP! :D :applause:

I played a great match and im happy i was able to beat him in 2 sets, but im sure it will be much tighter next time...im sorry he didnt play as competitive as usually...GG and GL!

Dr. Ivo def Richou 6-1 6-3

Made it far too easy for him far too often for my liking. Still, he played far too well. Gl in the rest of the tournament! :)

Dr.Ivo def. Richou 6-1,6-3! :D

Solid match, i was dominating almost the whole time, he could play better im sure, but he missed a lot, especially in the first set...he could make it harder for me as he said, but i played very good, enjoyable match :) Sorry for some net cords, i was lucky at some moments...

1.set...i raced out to a 4-0 lead as a result of his errors, i didnt do anything special...and then at 5-1 i broke him again to take the set, nothing more to say, he didnt put up a big fight there, just a few good rallies

2.set...it was much more competitive, he played better and he didnt make so many errors...he broke me in the 1st game and he had chances to go up 2-0, but i was lucky to avoid it...we held until i got to 3-2 where i managed to break him, i started to play well again...he lost concentration a bit so i held easily for 5-2...he held for 5-3 and then i played couple of poor points to hand him a BP which i was fortunate to save and win the match! :D

Nice match, there were some good rallies, sorry you werent able to put up a bigger fight, hope to play you again...GG and GL!

Dr.Ivo def. Oussama Hassad 7-6(3) 6-1! :D

Great match for me, i played well but i was very very lucky, especially in the first set...he didnt play at his best and not to talk about his partner who was very bad throughout the match...first set was as close as it gets, unbelieveably close games, it lasted very long...tons of chances, deuces, break points for both sides, but neither was able to capitalize, weird thing  Sorry for net cords, i had a lot of them, but he had them too, partners were the key of the match...some rallies were stunning so it was a great match, especially for me :blackeye:

1.set...everything was happening here, all games were close, we had a lot of chances...i had tons of break points at 4-3, he had at 4-4...at 5-5 i got to 40-0 and then he got back to a break point and eventually i won the game...it was a complete rollercoaster that set, a lot of net cords, winners, errors, everything...we headed into a TB where i was dominating, it wasnt that close...i got to a 2-0 lead, but he got back...i was leading 3-2 with him serving when i made 2 minibreaks to go up 5-2, i was lucky in that moments, sorry...then he won a point by a net cord for 5-3 and then i won 2 points in a row to seal a set as a result of his partners errors  I was happy to win that set, i knew it would be easier in the 2nd, this could have gone both ways :blackeye:

2.set...he completely fell apart lets say, i got to a 3-0 lead very quick as he and his partner made a lot of errors, he was demoralized...i broke him again and got to a 5-0 lead, he played terrible throughout the set, his partner even worse and i played very well and concentrated...he managed to win one game, but i used my chance to win it easily and i did it at 5-1! :D

Great match, sorry that i was lucky, but it is part of the game...i hope we will play more times and i know you can play much better, but it was tense anyway...im happy to be in another final beating 2 strong players in 2 sets on the way :D GG and GL!

Nice match, all games were deuce and advantage to both, I had chances to win 2 set, many points were very good, GL the rest of the tournament.

If you won the second set you might have ended Stajus's doubles win streak spanning about a year now, in the Super tiebreak.

Stajus def. Dr.Ivo 6-7(4),6-2,10-6! :D :applause:

Really crazy match, i think this was the best match i played against him, especially the first set...he played fantastic too, i couldnt keep up the level of the first set in other 2, but if my partner played just a bit better, it would have been even closer although he would probably win anyway :D There were very long rallies, great shots, funny shots, net cords...everything, great game...i started to use my singles player for dubs recently and it is working great, my serve gave him a lot of trouble today, he was unable to break me, just my partner  Luck wasnt the key factor, we both had net cords, nothing huge...he won cause he is the best and he plays the best when he needs to :applause:

1.set...i started great, i broke him in the first game...then, we had a very long game where i had 4,5 game points but he turned it around and broke back...at 2-2, i broke again, we were playing at a very high level...he responded great with and immediate break back...and when i held for 4-4, i broke him again to give myself a chance to serve out the set although it doesnt mean much against him and he showed that by breaking me back, but i played bad in that game, i missed 2,3 balls stupidly  We held our games comfortably to get into a TB which was great for me...noone got a serious advantage at the start, it was equal until 4-4, then i made a minibreak and used my serve to win next 2 points and take a set, i played those points fantastic :D

2.set...i just couldnt keep up the same level in 2nd set, it is very tough to play 2 great sets in a row and of course he got better, he always does when someone threats him  He started putting pressure on me, he played great and broke me in the first game...he held for 2-0, i held for 2-1 as a result of my serve, then he held for 3-1 and i had 2 game points for 3-2, but he turned it around and broke me one more time, i was a bit unlucky there...we both knew set was pretty much over at that point and we held comfortably until the end of the set although there were some great rallies along the way :applause:

3.set...he didnt crush me there, but he was dominant, he didnt let me take the lead at any point...it was all going by 1 or 2 points difference in his favour, he was the better player...i even had luck to have 2 net cords, but it didnt help me much as he was too good in other points :applause: We got to 6-5 and i was serving when he made a crucial step towards the victory with 2 minibreaks...my partner screwed up one point as he moved and didnt hit the ball   I saved one MP at 9-5, but he used one on my partner's serve when my partner moved again and let the ball pass him like and idiot  :applause:

Congrats man, it was an epic battle :D Im happy that i was able to take a set out of your hands, but you completely deserved the victory, i hope we will have more matches like this, GG and GL! :applause:
