Dr.Ivo def. StivenT 6-7(7),7-6(3),7-5! :D

Very tight match, i was lucky to win it in the end, we both played really good on our serves, match was pretty much the same all the time with easy serve holds...he couldnt get anywhere near my serve as he didnt have a break point and i had 2 break points, i used the 2nd...he controled it from the baseline, he didnt do many mistakes and i was dominant at the net...he had a few nice passing shots, but not enough to make a serious trouble  Sorry for some net cords, especially the one on the match point

1.set...we both held with ease until 4-3 where i had my first BP which he saved with a nice combination of a great serve and a FH winner...then we held easily again and headed into the breaker...there, the same story...neither of us was able to take a point on return and that led him to a set point at 6-5, then it led me to a set point at 7-6, and then again he had a set point at 8-7 which he used when i missed a volley of his nice return :applause:

2.set...very similar, but without break points, i managed to get to 30 few times, but i couldnt go further...he managed to do the same, but that was it, we headed into another TB...that time, i took control by racing to his drop shot and making a volley winner for a minibreak...then i held 2 serves for 3-0 and at 3-1 made another minibreak when he sent a shot wide...i used it with winning next 2 serve points...he saved 2 set points on his serve, but i hit an ace on my 3rd to send the match to a decider

3.set...he was even better in the last set when the return points are concerned, he threatened my serve with deuces in first 2 games, but i sneaked out of trouble...i had absolutely no chance on his serve, he was winning his serve games very comfortably...and then when i got to a 6-5 lead, i was sure we were going to play another TB, but surprisingly i was able to threat his serve...i got into some rallies, won one point at the net, he missed 2 balls and gifted me a match point at 30-40...i returned the serve, he hit the ball and then i hit one short backhand which touched the top of the net and went over, the ball wasnt so short but it was out of his reach and he was late on it so it won me the match, sorry for that

Very close match, i hope we will play some other time, it was enjoyable, i was lucky in crucial moments...GG and GL!

At least some of the top 10 aren't whining and complaining about the new version and rising to the challenge. Many things in the game can be compared to real tennis like lag is wind and new versions equals changing technology. If I can just improve my game I might have a chance now.

4th round: Mohamed Def. Dr.Ivo 7-6(7) 7-6(7). Great match, we had no break points but Tiebreaks were really tough, I saved 2 SPs in the first set, and 1 in the second. I was lucky in some moments, hitting strange shots :P GL in the future.

Mohamed def. Dr.Ivo 7-6(7),7-6(7)! :D

Great match as he said, both set were equal, i could win a set at least but he was a bit lucky to avoid that...there were no break points in the match so i will just comment TB's although we had some great rallies from the baseline and especially at the net :applause: There were 3 set points in the first set for me, not 2 :D

1.set TB...we held our serves till 5-4 if i remember correctly and then he went to the net and i played great passing shot to go up 6-4...then he saved the first set point in a long rally and when i had a serve at 6-5 he guessed it and made a winner, he was lucky on that although i should have served smarter  I won my next serve point to go up 7-6, but he responded great with 2 nice points and then he used a set point with a fantastic return winner :applause:

2.set TB...that was absolutely crazy, a rollercoaster...he made me a minibreak at the start and then he made another to go up 5-1 with an insane point, there were some weird smashes, lobs and drop shots  I won the next point for 5-2 and then i made 2 minibreaks, i was extremely lucky...first one was when he sent a lob wide in a net rally and the 2nd one was when i managed to reach the net and play a great volley...at 5-4, i hit 2 aces to go up 6-5, he tried to guess my serve but he went wrong way both times...then i could have won at least one of the next 2 points but i netted 2 returns in a row and he was at the net, who knows what would happen if i got them over  Then i saved a MP, but he used my 2nd serve at 7-7 as he hit a great return winner for a minibreak :applause: He used his 2nd MP with a baseline winner!

Great match, it was so close and enjoyable, hope to play more singles matches with you...GG and GL!
