Dr. Ivo, you're posting on the board but you're not online on MSN - maybe let's try playing a reserve match?

Reserve QF: Mohamed Def. AdrianMannarino 6-0 6-2. I played cool, he was better in the 2nd set but needs more practice to get his level back. GL in AO

Dr.Ivo def. Spencercarlos 6-0,6-1! :D

It was a nice match, score is definitely a bit rough  He plays very solid, from the baseline and at the net, but he definitely should come to the net more, he had some great volleys :D :applause:
I played very good at the net and i defended great so he missed a lot, but he would have won more points if he was coming to the net more...with the baseline game, my defending stopped him

No much more to say, he won his only game at 3-0 in the second set, he played better in the 2nd than in the 1st set...he had no break points, i was strong on serve :D Connection wasnt very good, but it was playable...he is a very nice guy, pleasure to play someone like that...GG and GL!

dr. ivo def adner 7-6 7-6

I wish it took him a little bit more than luck in tiebreaks to beat me.

Dr.Ivo def. Adner 7-6(3),7-6(5)! :D

Tense and close match, i was lucky to win it in 2 sets...it is true i was luckier in the TB's, but winning TB's is a result of winning more points on his serve than he was winning on my serve  He couldnt do nothing on my serve as i served fantastic and volleyed very good, i made a minimum number of errors with volley...he was also dominant on his serve, but i won a bit more points on his serve, i had one break point at the very end of the match...i could defend little better, but he made me not to with nice combination of good baseline shots and net play, he almost made no errors

1.set...almost nothing was happening against the serve, a few 15-30's or deuces, but nothing important...we headed into a TB where i took him a minibreak in the first point when he put his volley in the net...he got it back on the next point with nice passing shot which made me do the same, put the volley in the net...i won my serve point and then made another minibreak to go up 3-1, i guess i reached the net and won the point...then i won only lucky point in the TB's and he sais i was extremely lucky in TB's  I won the point with a net cord, he couldnt come to the ball early enough, sorry for that  Then i hit 2 great serves to go up 6-1...he saved 2 set points with his serve, but i used the one on my serve with a drop volley winner :D

2.set...pretty much the same happened in the second set, we had almost no chances on each other's serve, it was all going without break points, few deuces here and there...and when it seemed it will go in another TB without any chances, i managed to earn a break point which was a match point at the same time, but he saved it with a nice BH winner :applause: He kept composure and won next 2 points to send us into a TB...in the TB we held our serves until i got to a 3-2 lead, i made a minibreak there and pretty much solved the match...he won the next point, but i played great volleys to earn 6-3 lead and 3 match points...he saved 2 match points with nice game, but i was able to use my 3rd match point at 6-5 with a nice FH volley winner :D :applause:

Nice match, he could win one of the TB's if he had been a bit luckier to make more minibreaks, but i served great in this match and it prevented him, i also volleyed very well...so i wouldnt agree it was all about luck, but however...GG and GL!

I just have to comment this one, i couldnt do it before so i will do it now..,i gotta agree, really epic and insane match full of everything...i had great chance to win it, but he played better in key moments...there was so many important moments that i cant remember it all, so i will say about the most important ones :D Really one of the greatest matches i ever played, very entertaining and enjoyable, a lot of great serves, volleys, baseline shots, everything was great :applause:
Very sorry for all the net cords i had during the match, there was a lot of them, i have to admit
He was luckier in important moments, but he deserved the victory, no doubt, he played smarter when he needed to  :bounce: :jap:
Im not even sure if he had a break point, maybe 1 or 2...i had them more, 4 or 5, but we were both winning a lot of points on the return :D

1.set...i had 2,3 BP's in the beginning but he saved them...we held till the TB which was unreal, i couldnt have had a better chance to win the set :applause:  I dominated it and got to a 6-3 lead with 2 serves, i cant believe i didnt use it   He made 2 nice returns...then he had a set point at 7-6, but i saved it and got 4th set point at 8-7, he saved it with serve and got to 9-8...i saved even that and got to a 5th set point at 10-9...he managed to save that and take me a serve point, CRAZY TIEBREAK! :applause:

2.set...i will comment only tiebreak here, there were some chances on serve but i cant remember very well...in the TB he made a minibreak first to go up 3-2 but i got it back and got to a 5-4 lead...then he made an unexpected baseline error to hand me another minibreak for 6-4...he saved both of my set points, he passed me great at 6-5 :applause: :jap:
Then i got to my 3rd set point at 7-6 and finally used it, he got to the net to serve and volley, but i hit a great short return which made him miss a volley :D :blackeye:

3.set...big drama in this set, the most important things happened at the end...we somehow got to 5-5 and there was my biggest chance, he missed few balls and i had a break point at 30-40...i managed to got to the net with slice, i played 2 volleys and then he somehow LOBBED ME to save a break point, i couldnt believe what a chance i missed
He won that game and he had 0-30 in the next one, but i served and volleyed fantastic to win a game without having to save a match point and we headed into a deciding TB :applause: :applause: He was better in that one, he made a minibreak at 3-2 with a fantastic passing shot, all credit for that :jap: :applause: Then i won the next point and he won his 2 serve points to go up 6-3...i saved the first match point, but he used the second with a nice passing shot which made me miss a volley! :applause:

Unbelievable match, really insane, could have gone both ways obviously   One of the most amazing matches i played, but he deserved the win, he used his chances, i didnt use my chances  Great game and GL in the final and in AO! :applause: :jap:
