Epic battle, really great match from both sides...im extremely happy to win my 3rd title this way
So many things happened in this match, so i'll probably forget to mention some important moments in the summary
I had a lot of luck with net cords, sorry for that...there were some spectacular rallies, stunning play from both of us, our partners were solid but they can be better i guess
1.set...i started great and broke him in 2nd game from 40-0 down...he responded with some nice shots to break back...then we held easily until 4-3 where i had 0-40, but he saved it and it looked to be crucial for the set as he broke me in the following game and had a chance to serve out the set...i prevented him with some great points and i won my service game comfortably...then at 6-5 i was really lucky to break him again, i had some net luck in that game, sorry
2.set...momentum of winning first set showed at the beginning of the 2nd where he didnt play good and i got to 3-0 lead, and it looked pretty much over at the moment...but then at 3-0, he won one long game on his serve and that put him back in play...he broke me in the next game, but i broke him again to go up 4-2...and then, of course, another break happened and then we started holding serve comfortably until 5-5 where he broke me again and had a chance to serve it out, but i played great and broke him for a TB...in the TB it was really tense, it was 1-1,2-2,3-3, but then he won 2 in a row and got to 5-3...i won point on my serve and then took 2 minibreaks with much luck...that got me a match point, and worse possible thing happened, my partner served a double fault
And then we had one epic point at 6-6 which he won and he served it out at 7-6 to take us into a decider
3.set...we held first 4 service games with no big problems, and then i made a deciding step by breaking him for 3-2 lead...we held easily till 4-3 where i had some troubles on my serve, but i won that long game...he managed to hold his serve for 5-4 and forced me to serve out the match...i got to 40-30, he saved that match point, but then i played 2 fantastic points to finally win the match!
It was one of the best doubles matches i played, great battle...it was my first win over him in this tour
