Invisible, but then visible once you join it (if possible) then as adner says keep it so that they can't leave.

Nah, coz ppl talk on msn and then it's easy for everybody to get to know if someone scary applied or not. I think we should just do what's in the real life, if you apply in tournie 1 you can leave the queue once but then you can't come back, and certainly not for applying for tournie 2...

Well, it will be a bit confusing, so I don't think it is an ok idea...

No, either visible at all times or invisible. Changing it to visible after entering is exactly the same now when people ask mods to check the hidden lists anyway.

Lol, wut? Dave clearly stated it would become visible after entering without the option to leave the queue...People ask mods before entering the queue, but in the above case they can see who's playing only AFTER they've joined the tournament. It's a fine idea...but idc honestly, the way it is now is fine too, 'cause you get to see who's playing the tournament anyways once the draw is out (and I don't think we need an extra few days of seeing the queue once we've joined to craft the tactics vs various opponents :o). Yeah, but once someone enters it will be just the same as it's now. It's... irrational to think that someone who knows the list will not share it with someone else who has not entered yet so to make it fair and simple they should be visible all the time. Mr A who has not yet entered a tournament can ask Mr B who has already entered the tournament. In the end it's better to let Mr A know the list without having to ask anyone else. Anyways, the last thing we should want is giving people who are friends with mods any unfair and undeserved advantage.

Adner's right. People can still just ask their friends who have already applied so it sort of defeats the purpose.

I don't have a preference either way, so long as its visible to everybody or to nobody, as Adner suggests.
