R16 Florian def. Roger Federer 6-2 6-3 6-1 I wasn't feeling very comfortable on my serve games which explains how he broke me couple of times (he returned pretty well actually) but the big difference was that my returns nailed every single serve that he didn't hit perfectly. gg&gl

Ok, I was fair about 1st set that we stared a couple of days ago when I won 6-0 and he had to eat. We started the match from the beggining.
When he won 1st two sets, i was sure that I will lose this match, but i dont know how i returned in that match..
In 5th set i had break and 3-1 but i was too tired to play and he back that break and won the match, and I had break point on 5-3 but he saved it with great winner.

My first quarterfinals of Grand Slam...it was first R16 too

Im very happy with my performance except the seventh game of the first set considering that he played absolutely his best match against me ever!

1.set...it progressed with quick holds until 3-3...in that game i had 30-0, but he broke me on his first chance, i really played this game bad, i wasnt concentrated good enough
We held easily till the end of the set, but the important thing is that i didnt panic or something for losing it

2.set...it had its turbulences...i had break point at the beginning, but than he had break point in i dont know which result, maybe 2-1 or 3-2, that was important to save
When i saved it, i played really more relaxed and at 4-3 i made my first break of the match with much luck, he made double fault and i had one net cord, sorry for that game , and i served it out easily

3.set...uhh, it was tough...he had a set point at 5-4 , but i was lucky to save it, and than we moved to the breaker and there he made double fault on first point but i squandered that advantage and he got to 3-2...then i played really good rest of it and won 5 points in a row to seal it!

4.set...well, it was really good set of him, i didnt expect him to play that good...i had my first match point at 5-4, but he saved it with an ace!
We got to tiebreak which was really tense at the beggining, we got to 3-3...i made a minibreak and got to 6-3, i had 3 match points in which he played great and saved it ...fortunately i won next point and i could play relaxed at my fifth match point in which i played great net point and finally won!

Turning point was maybe his third set setpoint ...he finally learned how to hit short passing shots which made my life really difficult, he put in a hell of a fight

Kyuuji you're a great player, but you lost 3 sets before Maxy did. It was VERY good sportsmanship of Maxy to let you restart the match.

I think players should not do this if they have agreed to play a reserve match. Maxy won that set 6-0 so who knows what would have happened if they had continued that day. I think you should be very appreciative of Maxy's gift of an entire set. And no offense Kyuuji, you are a nice guy.

P.S. Kev, you're a bad boy You did this "I gotta eat" trick on me too during some clay tournament in 2010 when I was a set and a break up...and then you won the 2nd set LOL...Luckily, I won the 3rd...

He had to eat tnan and he played only on the net and of course i passed him everytime, so i was thinkin that we should play from the beggining.

Well as I said, I really appreciate what he did, but I told him if he wants to take the 1st set, I don't care.. He clearly said that we were playing the 1st set, well my bad I had to eat my mom got angry xD So I played quickly, but this was only 1 set ..
