Vojatenis wrote:wait , u commented about 1 my sentence and thats about ur game? nobody cares about our no1 spot man , they just wanna see a better game and more realistic . Nor we are talking about schmith. Congrats on ur beating stefi tho thats not the topic either :D he would beat u for sure if u play with 'ur kind of balans' if this playing with one stats gets into the tour. I think u just couldnt choose between singles or doubles , or u would play one tournament singles and another doubles :D that would be a smart tactic ... tho that would be lame as well  About ur comment moha , hes a great player , like a one 'with a great balans' would be in this game if hed make his stats nicely  thats just his style , we are not talking about that  and btw stan , u never go on net with great players , so i think Jo Tsonga isnt a great person who should i ask about ur game ( that i know exactly how it looks )

Lol, you know nothing ;) As I obviously changed my singles stats after the AO match with moha ;)...

LOL if this comes into the game , u ll be much worst , and yea its the easiest way to say that im not right , without any explanation ( because u have no ) and im talking how u played most of the time , and dont worry , stats dont change a player in singles too much ( even if u changed ur stats u would have to choose between them and the doubles one in a tournament , so that means nonthing ? ) , domke will make a pool , GL on it

yea, Voja is totally in right ... @Stajus... you want to say that voja is not in right but you have no explaination. Playing doubles with difference stats is sucking " my opinion " I think you are against this idea because I think there will be changing on ranking :fear: :fear: :fear: :fear: :fear: especially in top 3 :fear: :fear: :fear:

lol i accept that spin is a special way to play , tho not everyone can do it , ant another thing , ofc i d have to practice with that style ( i could beat u even without practice ) , tho everyone knows that i won Montreal with 0 spin , so u wouldnt be a problem , shouldnt u ? :D

Hmm, that's why I broke you immediately in the first game? And you were playing seriously, 'cause I can tell that unlike other guys as I played you many times ;) The spin won't be the main complaint, I will ask for Manu to implement that all the mishits go into the net unless they are sliced...I guess you will like that

Dude, you base your whole game on mishits and defence...mishits create your opportunities to attack and you know it very well ;) And spin allows you to defend as you get a lot of time from it...once the mishits are gone you are nothing...Just an average player. Sorry ;) Seems that I know a lot more about the game than you thought...Record your AO final and we can all together count how many mishits you've hit (and how many points they helped you in)...Sounds good?

And I don't care about Top 10  I care about "realistic" now, got it? 8-)

Re: What about playing singles and doubles with same stats??

Postby Richou » 20 Jan 2011, 18:56

This would be an ok idea except for a few things. Some players are only adept at volleying in doubles and others in singles. I mean look at players like Wawrinka. He won the freaking olympic doubles and make no mistake he was the man who made the difference but he can't volley for shit in singles. On the woman's side theres Stosur who was world number one in doubles but is so erratic at the net in singles its unreal. It may well be due to the case that they're used to being too dependent on their partners covering the other side of the court.

Also its not really a case of stats, its tactics. I mean you look at Wawrinka who is pretty much solely a baseliner in singles and comes to the net in doubles (when he occasionally plays) and covers pretty well. Same for Stosur.

Its a nice idea and would make sense, but for the purposes of a game and having fun, it seems a bit pointless.

I guess that if its so easy everyone could do it , tho im not seeing anyone being close to it :D defence ? is that a crime? hahaha and no , i have much winners that u can only dream about doing ... anyways , u wont get anything good in those pools. Im not the only one that plays those mishits , it just happens , i try to hit with the center of the recquet every time , i dont need that to beat great players, especially those like u :D and ofc , i ll record it , tho that doesnt mean anything...just , i cant wait to see how will u react when u see the same stats rule

LOL, your mishits are purposeful...don't be so funny ;) Don't get me wrong, your spin defence is great and not many people can do it, but your mishits are lame and you base your whole attacking game on them (without them you can't really make the transition from defence into attack)...And very few people use the mishits in such a manner as you do :)
