Comments: "To be honest, I'm not really disappointed with this result (at all) but overall, I am extremely disappointed about the fact that I couldn't get any match play throughout my first two rounds here. My first round opponent was 'majstor'; he was injured (so to speak) and I had a walkover to the 2nd round. With De Brito; the issue was that the lag was unbearable (because we are so apart from each other -- our connection input and output is therefore low in quality), so we decided on RL which went to his favor. So yeah, a little unfortunate on my behalf. But I literally did not do anything to reach the 2nd round and I couldn't get any matches under my belt here, especially on this plexi-cushion surface where I haven't had much experience on (or any other surface except blue-green cement in that matter!). I've only played one match (actually, half a match because I had to retire) on the plexi-cushion surface, and that was back in the Sydney International -- I would have liked to know this surface a little more; and was hoping to do so at my first grand slam debut (at the Australian Open). So I'm very disappointed about how my week turned out here. I was unlucky with how things went and so, it was a disaster for me."

I haven't agreed to continue the match later and as he's been being annoying all the time during the match I don't think that would be fair if we did. I think he's done that to annoy me.

"I'm sorry to bring this up, but sadly I will be absent for the majority of the 2010 season . After the Australian Open, I went back to training and to my misfortune, I had injured my right shoulder blade . I will be going to rehab and undergoing shoulder surgery which will sideline me for most of the year. After that, I'll give it a rest and then slowly work on my game and possibly play in some of the Tour-level tournaments, late during the year to see how the progress of my shoulder is coming along . I hope I will recover well, especially for the 2011 season, but for everyone else that is active on the tour, I wish them all the best for the current season ."
