Re: Australian Open Singles (Official Topic)

Champion def. Sybille Bammer 6-4 6-2 6-3

Quickfacts about the match: I lead 4-0 in the 1st set and 3-2 break up in the 3rd. I also had i think twice 40-0 at my serve (once in the 1st set, once in the 3rd) i didnt use it.

Now the funny thing: when i told Champion to play fair and normal, he said that it's his tactic. I think I can resume Champion's "playing style" (if you can call that so, concerning Champion) with one word: ridicoulos.

A normal rally of Champion: Lob, Lob, Lob, Lob, Lob, (opponent's shot gets too short)-drop
or: Lob, Lob, Lob, Lob, Lob, volley

I think nobody in the atp-tour plays like that, or nobody who has success plays like that.
Since we(the tour) wants to be like the atp-tour. I think such things should get banned.
So i hope the moderaters and ManuToo think about that.

If someone would play like that in reality, even my 75-year-old grandma would beat him and I think she has never played tennis.

Kind Regards, Klaus

Champion(25) def. Sybille Bammer: 6-4,6-2,6-3 :D
1st set:
it was bit laggy in first set few minutes  it frustrated me a lot becos i cudnt serve well at all.he soon went on to lead 4-0.i was totally frustrated with my serve.but i just kept my cool making him nervous with my game.it started working.i just pulled away the set without giving him a point.lol from 0-4 down i went to lead 6-4
2nd set:
i started it fine and i broke him again to lead 2-0(8 games in row 8-) )then he served well to get to 2-1 but he was very frustrated i think after losing first set.and he talking some unknown language on chat"ajde".i donno what it means.but certainly i made him more frustrated by winning more points lol  finished 2nd set easily 6-2
3rd set:
well this time he just a little focussed and got a lead on me.i went 0-2 down it continued till 2-3 down but then i broke him back and after that he just lost focus and i just went solid.there was no look back after that.lol from 2-3 down i finished it 6-3 a similar like 1st set
Sybille,GL in future :) dont forget u said "f*** u" after that i told "ridiculous" and ridiculous is not bad word.cool its not lob dude, its the topspin i have 8-)

Klaus, I totally understand you, and i find his game irritating, although he is sure he doesn't play lobs, or want us to believe in... but, here mods do nothing to help players...
