But you can do several rl's and show which you want... That is stupid... I don't know why you did kz's rl for 5 hours... Because for rl you need less than one minute... :annoyed:

That's way too much for you to expect from us mods for every RL. First, we don't all have webcams. We also would have to wait for both opponents to be on to do every RL. You'll just have to trust a copied result (or a screenshot, if you ask for it) as proof.

tie breaks can decide the winner in few minutes.so its more fair that the result goes to fair player and more good players rather than for seeds(which is occur in RL,which is really a joke or unfair totally)
by doing RL,a new player can never reach top20 even if he is better than top seeds(i m talking about laggy matches)
So seriously it looks like almost 90%players(except seeds) dont like RL at all.so please find an another alternative for it...tog ,i may believe as mod giving correct proof, but i dont believe other mods becos i dont know much about them...and some guys may not believe mods always as jelena jankovic said.and thats true.so simply find an alternative.
Manutoo, u can ask the mods to change the rule of RL to alternative(like tie-breaks).and this alternative is supported by many players.so as game ADMIN,u can do us this favour

Well I can't agree for tie-breaks too... Because sometimes better players can't play with lag... That is very hard especially for attackers... Maybe they can beat their opponents easily without the lag...

FYI Teja, 75% of the time RL is done because people aren't here at the same time, not because there was lag.

Re: Alternative for RL?

Postby tati cornet » 08 Nov 2009, 21:08

tog is right, this chat is ridiculous. i have played the whole season (except from after wimbly until montreal) and i never had to ask a rl. in singles and doubles! so even when i had to play a south american or an indian, i found a way to do it and to finish the match (except against tennis champion in hamburg but...no comment :o).
so i think every player has to "move his ass" without connecting himself for only 10 mn per day.
and furthermore, players who have always huge problems with lag can't complain to lose by rl. if their connexion is bad, they can't hope to reach the top 20 as some want to. have a better connexion or stop playing.

I had a problem with RL in US Open. Weeka32 didn't want to play cause ping was 450 ms, but it was totally playable. So that's not justice to do RL...

ok ok i m not saying only use tie breaks.i want someone to give an alternative to RL(ofcourse tie breaks are supported by many) but if ur idea is better than tie breaks,we surely invite u to discuss that idea with us(be bold to give ur ideas becos no one wud comment u for ur idea)

ok then do RL or give w/o but what about laggy matches.when both players are there in right time to play, lag is that creates RL  so have a convincing idea to remove RL.ofcoure i find atleast 2 to 3 RLs in almost every draw which just simply shows that some guys can never top the rankings in any way

awwwwwwww u r awful guy.u know that i lost in RL that day(forget that damn day with u),it's becos u r a seeded guy.but don't forget the next match we played in new haven,i won it without RL.so thats it.it's just kinda small proof to show low ranked players can beat seeds,so why do RL and disappoint them.and man u r just ridiculous.no one will be born with bad connection ,its just the distance b/w countries and the net those countries have.game is designed for everyone to have fun and not to stop playing if there is bad connection.we have good connection with countries near to us,so its just a global problem.so just shut up :|

We discussed this, and decided that our new system of RL would be better.
