QF: Zuzana Ondraskova (USA) [3] def. Max Botti (BRA) [8] 6-3, 6-1

This was a pretty good match, closer than the score. He made a lot of really smart plays, and was good at net and with touch, neither of which I can say for myself.

But I started well, and was able to put a pretty good deal of pressure on his serve. I adjusted to the slowness by the second set, which I was able to win the last five games of.

My first time living up to my seeding in way too long :D.

This match was really anoying. Ero and I used to have a good lag when we played but recent matches we played
were very laggy. The match was really boring it was so slow but sometimes was quickly and that made us get
crazy. We missed a lot of balls specially Ero and I think that was the key of the match.
Good luck in future, Ero. I hope to play against you in better conditions!

The conditions were very hard, it was really slow and stuck at some times just everything you can imagine..
He dealed better with these conditions and could win quite comfortable.
Anyway Good Luck for your next matches :)

BlackyM - Vanessa Child 6-1, 6-4

Good match, I was playing really good, and she wasn't on top of her game.

First set, she was playing pretty bad, her serve which was her main weapon in our friendly matches wasn't good. So I took advantage of it and won first set quite easily.

I thought that something is maybe wrong with connection and that that may be a problem for her, although ping was 140-150, so I wanted to rehost. And after that she stared to play better.

Second set, I had 2 BPs in first game, but after I missed almost clear point at one of them, my game got worse, and she stopped making mistakes, and started to move really well. So I struggled on my serve, but did not give her a BP, and she was winning her next 2 serves with 40-0...then at 3-3, she made two mistakes (error, and missed ball), then I made great return, for 0-40, she saved 2 BPs with some brilliant shots, but on the 3rd BP I made another great return and broke her.
And that was it, I had no problems on my serve till the end.

I wish her GL in next tournaments, and tnx for positive words

BlackyM def. Vanessa Child 6-1 6-4

Blacky explained things very well. He was the better player today :) .

In the first set he came out firing--I did not expect him to be so on top of his game. I was having some difficulties for a reason I cannot understand (I wasn't nervous or anything...), but he was playing so amazingly. My serving was 50% unfortunately, and he pounced on my second serves.

In the second he rehosted and things were a bit better for me. Many games were close, and many were at love. He wasn't quite as incredible in the second set, partly because I was moving and striking the ball better. But he still played extremely well, and showed his years of experience and great improvement in the past 2 weeks. Everybody still thinks of him as a TE2006 player, but now he has made the transition to a great TE2009 player, and everyone should respect him for being that.

I am disappointed with the loss, but there is something good I can take from this week. In my first tour match since my wimbledon heart-breaker, I was able to come through in a very tight match against a good player, and today even though I wasn't 100%, I still was able to play very well in important points and hit some great shots when I needed to, so I am feeling confident for the future.

I wish you luck Blacky in the final...you'll need it!
Until I can get my revenge, ciao  .

It was a poor match for each other I think. I played particularly bad, I had the feeling my sight was not good
lol. I couldn't defend his shots and he attacked very good. Honestly I think he deserved a closer match
cause I won my service games only with my serve lol. I hitted a lot of aces and that was the key of the match.
Anyway, good luck for your upcoming matches Zuzana.

Hakanmoku - BlackyM 7-5, 6-3

I'm just pissed on myself, this is something similar like last week match against A. Dimitrov, I'm idiot...toooooo many mistakes, just amazing

and one more thing in whole match till 3-3 in 2nd set I made just 1 DF, and in that game I made two, on 15-15 and deuce...perfect

last time we played in friendly I won 2 out of 4 sets against hakanmoku, and had 2 breaks in third...but today...I was terrible.

Congrats to Hakan...he played good, better, luckier, and deserved to win

Hakanomoku def. BlackyM 7-5 6-3

1st set was so close, I had some break points but I couldn't win them. He was serving very good
and did a lot of aces, He was playing very agressive but doing some stupid mistakes. I won
almost all my games comfortably. At 5-5 I could break him and take the set.
The second set I played much better and more agressive and I had some break points that
I couldn't win as well. He had some too. At 3-3 I broke his serve and at 5-3 I boke him too
to win the match. Good luck in future BlackyM

Congrats Haka! You are on quite a streak now :) .

Good playing blacky. Don't be too angry because that is a great result against a player so great as Haka.
