I think its absolutely ridiculous that KZ won a tournament by winning one match, against a qualifier. Its not his fault but its completely unfair that he gets 250 points for beating someone who probably has only played tennis elbow for like a week or so. I dont know any other solution but this is absolutely crazy! This cannot happen.

In this case it's not like he wouldn't have won anyways, but I agree that winning by wos isn't the best idea :p

Maybe the point system can be changed so that you don't win any points when you get a W.O? There's nothing you can do about someone winning a title like that but you can definitely change the amount of points they get so it's more fair.

I guess we could discuss that. It'd be difficult to implement it for the tournaments that have already finished, so if we did do this it'd probably only be for the future.

KZ got a WO on me that i don't agree with. The thing I hated about the WO was that i told KZ when I could play and was there on time this was saturday morning, and he told me he got a walkover. I can understand WO if your opponent isn't ever online but i was online a good part off the time. I couldn't play at his time because I have work and can't play in the morning, and after that it's too late for him but i'm usually online in the evening. So I don't get why he got Wo. Also losing points in the tournament because of that would've sucked so i don't like Roy's idea. Ok rant over

I never thought about it like that. Maybe taking away points isn't the answer to the problem, it's really punishing the person who wants to play, it's not their fault they got a walkover because whoever their opponent is couldn't show up.

Perhaps the player should get a penalty for not showing up? Obviously scheduling problems could still go to Real Luck, but not answering an opponent or even trying to schedule a date should warrant some sort of punishment.

yeah i can't understand a player who tries to win without connecting at all. it's simply childish and it's not the rule of a game like te, where you are supposed to take pleasure whn you play.
idk if a point penalty is good, but maybe a player who disappears several times in few weeks can be forbidden to play for one or wo weeks for instance. because these people take place of other players who want to play honestly.
