obviously im not tog but he cant post on the forum atm so heres his report

Togtdyalttai(1) def. K Z(13) 6-1

We decided to only play 1 set again because of the lag. It wasn't the best match, and I won again because I was able to handle the lag a little bit better than he was. I wish we could play with normal conditions, because that would probably make for a fun match, but it hasn't happened yet. Good luck this summer!

I'm against this...you cannot play just one set...if there is lag that makes it unplayable for one of the players, then you should try again or continue later...

Well Blacky , do u think we had the possibility to play a full match and we chose to play only one set ?
No I don't think so
the lag was awful and I rearly have a playable lag with TOG , and to play one set was the fairest way to conclude this match and I think Tog will say the same thing so even if I lost I am sure it was the best decision

Im in agreeance with Tog and KZ, this is the best way to sort out an unplayable match without resorting to Random Luck

I guess you can consider it a "6-1 ret" result if you dont like it being one set :p

I do not agree at all...exactly because of the lag, that one set can be decided by one point in which lag causes one of the players to miss the ball, or make wrong shot, or position himself wrongly on the ball...

Another argument, is mine an kyuuji's match, where while he hosted I had huge delay, but when I hosted, conditions dozen times better for me.

Another argument, is you can play bad in one set, and good in another, so match of one set, doesn't prove much who is better. Although togdt is 1st on rankings, you can't assume that he would won this match for sure, can you. He had 2-0 in sets against richou, and what happened.

Another argument, during the match you can find things that one of the can do well, or respond well to it, you can change tactics during the match, and with that make your self even harder to beat.

Another argument, is adjusting to conditions, as you play longer in one condition, you play better as time passes...like mine and chillers match...

Although its unplayable match, its semis of the Wimbledon, deadline is not that much big of a deal now because matches will be played, you should have try to play later if nothing else, just giving up must not be an option in these situations, no matter what kind of a conditions are, and who is your opponent.

Ok, point taken. But as long as the players have agreed to this, and they have asked mods permission for this, then i dont see the problem

Togtdyalttai(1) def. Eronakold(6) 6-2 7-5 7-6(6)

Good match, he really pushed me but I was able to win more of the crucial points than he was.

The first set was pretty easy. I imposed my power game upon him and he had no answer yet. He wasn't able to get anything going on my serve either.

The second set started out like the first, and I pulled out to a 5-1 lead. Then he picked up his game, and I played a lose game at 5-2 serving for the set the first time. So he evened the score at 5-5, but then I broke him again and was able to serve out the set on the 3rd try. He started playing a lot more drop shots, most of them I was able to get to but he was still able to win a lot of the points anyway.

In the 3rd set, he played the best that set and should've won it. He broke me my first two service games, and although I broke him back on one of them, he opened the set with a 4-1 lead. We kept holding serve, neither one very easily, until 5-3, when I was able to break through. Then I carried the momentum through to 6-5 and served for the match, but he was too strong and broke me to get into a tiebreak. In the tiebreak (my first one of the tournament), he started out up 4-1 (as he did at the beginning of the set) but then I think he choked somewhat. I won 5 of the next 6 points to get to 6-5 and my first match point. He saved that one with a good serve but put in a second serve on the next point which I pounded home for a winner. Then I hit a few aggressive groundstrokes to close out the match on the next point.

I'm happy for him that he was able to make the final. He's had a lot of trouble in grand slams in the past and it was nice to see him finally pull out a good result. I'm sure he's kicking himself for a few points in the 3rd set, but overall I played a little bit better. Hopefully he'll continue to succeed this summer and win his first tournament!
