Re: Monte Carlo (Offical Topic)

Thanks. I've never played anyone who routinely took my topspin so early and smashed winners off it. There went my whole gameplan.

Also, apologies for my low ELO screwing things up. I was around 2200 ELO, then I fiddled with some files and it reset to 1000. So, I got 2 points for my performance.

Hakanomoku is giving me a walkover.

We couldnt play yesterday, because I was busy. Today, he arrived right on 5 pm, which is when my connection for some reason becomes shit, and only resolves around 10:45pm. So we tried playing, but of course, the lag was awful, we played 3 pts, and he decided to retire, since he cant be here tomorrow. Sorry Hakano, hopefully we'll play before 5 next time.

Yu.Gi.Oh def. Ro.Federer: 6-0, 4-0 (40-0) Ret.

Although I am disappointed that Ro.Fed retired before the end of the match, I am happy that I won.

Togtdyalttai(3) def. K Z via walkover

I can't say I'm too happy about this, but his connection is not good enough for us to play. There was way too much lag to even get through one point. He said it's better in the morning, but I couldn't play at that time on weeknights, and he can't play tomorrow. So we were stuck, and he was nice about it. I do hope to be able to play him sometime soon.

Edberg I'm waiting for you, tell me when you can play...

I might have to withdraw from the tournament cuz I can't contact my opponents and I don't have much time to be online Saturday and Sunday...

R.Gasquet def Maria Sharapova 6-0 6-1
S.Williamz def R.Gasquet 6-3 6-3

:x I should have broken in his 2nd service game, I had 2 bps, but it desynched just as I hit what was a winner, which completely threw my concentration and he closed the game out easily.

Anyway gg and gl for the semis

Eronakold def. Yu.Gi.Oh 6/2 6/7(6) 6/2

What started as a boring match with tons of erros ended up quite interesting, after a 6/2 3/1 lead he started to play better and made less errors. The match got much more tied and he won the 2nd set. In the 3rd set i started to play better again and finished quite easy.
Good Luck in your next tournament!! :D

Togtdyalttai(3) def. Eronakold(6) 6-1 6-4

Good match. He played better against me than he has for quite awhile but it just wasn't enough. First set I won easily, no real trouble. Second set was more difficult. He started by going up 3-1, but then I broke back and took 5 of the last 6 games to win the set and the match. Overall, many good rallies, a lot of good defense, and only 2 errors on my part. :D

S.Williamz d. Chiller 6-0 6-0

I wasn't expecting something like this at all...based on our previous matches I was prepared for much closer combat. I managed to keep the errors down and mixed it up a bit which seemed to throw him off...he was at his best only in moments, and I was playing very well, so I guess that's it. lol
