I also dont know why maciek is shouting over the rooftops about winning. Perhaps a bit of banter to make the tournament more interesting but i won 5 days ago against him 6-2 6-1 so maybe he has improved in 5 days to a god level?

It was a good match, no doubt. He played extremely well and his defense was amazing. I've never had anyone get so many balls back against me. However, I am very disappointed because I should have won the match. It is sad that lag had to determine the curcial break in the second set. I was in a winning position in the point but it caused my player to completely miss the ball and therefore lose my serve. Maybe after holding it would have given me the momentum to break him. I had break points in many, many games in the second and third sets, but could not convert. Some was good playing by him, some was bad playing by me, and some was lag. So I am displeased with the outcome because of all my opportnities.
He played very well though, and kept his cool after a double fault gave me the first set. I look forward to our matches in the future . Good luck in the quarterfinals!

Lol this guy is hilarious and mostly annoying anyways no one asked you wait for 3 days :S no one waits for reserve matches lol and btw yesterday you hosted to play reserve and then he ends up playing flavia pennetta and makes me wait lol and then when we play it was slow so we both agreed to play another time.

Amazing match, the best for me so far this season, no doubt. Vanessa Child is amazing player. It was too tough to beat him, amazing defensive player, he feels the game so well, so many long rallies, I couldn't finish some of them. I was very disappointed to lose the first set, especially with the way I did (to serve a double). But anyway I happy that I was able to come back and just to keep fighting for every point. Thank you Vanessa. You are definitely TOP 20 player at least. Good luck in the future.
