TScott we could play a round 16 match I suppose, it doesn't seem our section's players are planning to play any of their matches...

Nikko def. Tom Paulman 6-2 6-7 7-6 4-6 12-10 :D

One of the most entertaining matches I've played. I have a lot to improve in TE2009, I made so many mistakes especially from the baseline. The only thing that kept the match so close was my serve, I made over 60 aces. He was up 5-3 in the final set and served for match, had 3 match points but I still managed to break him, maybe he got nervous. I loved the drama in the final set :)

It was really a nerve killer match! Tom played quite solid when I had match points, and i wouldnt put too much monex for my win afterwards.
One thing to speak about: It was not only great match, but very fair. "desincronization" came at very important points, and either of us behaved fair!

Togtdyalttai(8) def. Eronakold(9) 6-2 6-1 6-2

This match was really closer than the score. We had a lot of good rallies, but I just came out on top in most of them. He simply was not able to win free points off his serve like I was, and consequently I broke him many times. Nor was he able to finish off points. I was able to defend from the back of the court, then wait either for him to hit an error or for a chance to hit a winner. He has to play at his best to beat me, and he didn't do that. I wouldn't say he played bad, but he's definitely done better. Anyway, good luck in the future, I know this won't be our last meeting.

The other people in our section have not played their matches as the first round deadline is fast approaching. Although they might play them sometime (and I apologize for the bluntness here), it's glaringly obvious that Ero and I will be the two in the R16 anyway.

Played as a reserve:

Algo def Santiago92 6-0, 6-1, 0-0 ret.

I had some break point at first but some problems in my house took my mind and make me desconcentrate, but anyway Algo played much better than me.
