Hi, I'm new to the tour. What exactly are the reserve matches for and when should they be played?

when you can't contact your opponent of the round you actually are you may play a reserve match with your opponent of the next round, if you know that you have to play with someone at r16 but you haven't played your r32 match, play your opponent of r16 as reserve match, if you won your r32 match then, the result of the reserve match will count, if you loose then it won't count

LOL
I think that if u do not keep 780 left u will see ur chances of winning reduced especially against good players
so U have to know that to keep 780 isn't an obligation but it's the best thing u can do in fair mode :)

if you don't left 780, your skills will be set randomly, and it will change from match to match, so it's better to set your skills at 780
