Yes it is true. It says so in the description of the patch, on the first page It also says there that players are carefully balanced and locked.

This patch is geared towards Competitive Online play.

Keep in mind, you can now dress your player yourself and save the outfits. This is no longer locked in ITST mod.

Guys why dont you add a new alternative file with 30 different players instead of trying to figure out which player slot you should use for replacing one player for another ?
I dont know if this is possible but it will be good if we have like 2 games or 2 different files with the same restrictions, compatible with each other...and we have 60 players to play online-. and if it is possible next step can be to have 90 players and so on!

Its not a bad idea, and we may do something like that in the future. But keep in mind, balancing the roster is a Full Time Job. It is not easy. Especially considering updates from Mana. Our goal is not necessarily have all players, but rather have a balanced roster, with each player having a style and a fighting chance to win a match against another. I think this is what makes out patch so good. That and the fact you can take this all into a competitive online situation!

Demo cannot be modded (correct me if I am wrong). So it is not up to us to make it possible or not possible. This is not something we are able to change.

I talked to Sampreas a few days ago and he said something that there was a mod for a demo version so maybe it is possible..However im not sure

Hi, we will update all the outfits on the next patch. This will likely be around Roland Garros and Wimbledon times.
