Phantasy Court: The Leopard Safari Lounge

Postby crel » 06 Jun 2018, 05:15

According to the rules of the WWF the Leopard pattern is just painted on the ground,
no real animal had to die for this court.
The lines are made of solid gold.

Classix: Battle of the Sexes 1973

Postby crel » 10 Jun 2018, 15:20

This term has been used to describe various exhibition matches played between a man and a woman.
Most famously, the term is used for a nationally televised match in 1973, held at the Houston Astrodome, between 55-year-old Bobby Riggs and 29-year-old Billie Jean King, which King won in three sets.
Two other matches commonly referred to as a "battle of the sexes" include a match held four months earlier in 1973 between Riggs and Margaret Court, over the best of three sets, and one in 1992 between Jimmy Connors and Martina Navratilova.

Do you know where i can find court images with hd resolution, i mean futures, challengers, atp 250, atp 500, atp 1000. it's just that i am learning to make courts and i need these images with good resolution.

Do you know some websites?

I hope you can help me.

Note: Excuse me if i don't follow the line of the topic, but it wouldn't be reasonable to create a new topic with this question, it's what i think.

Thanks.

Hi wilddog,

you can find a lot of courts on youtube. I have found and made a lot of future and challenger courts there.
Most of them are in Hd. Some of them are not very playable.
I may open up a thread, if someone is intered. They are great for playing in carreer mode.
More variety.

It's true, as you say in youtube we can find many matches where we can capture the images of these courts, in fact, i made courts through this way, but the resolution shown it doesn't convince to me, i really think is bad because doesn't seem hd, else sd. Now, I continue thinking is not reasonable to create a thread for this, maybe it doesn't have the necessary importance, but I think is interesting, so i will continue looking for images of courts, however, if someone can to support (i mean where download images of courts with good resolution), it would be great.

Thanks.

Well it depends on what you mean by good resolution.
A lot of them are in 720p. I think they have a fairly decent resolution.
It it difficult to find a better resolution anyway.
I think that having a good camera angle is the most
important thing to what concerns playabilty.

You mention that you have made many future and challenger, now, how do you link these courts with each customcourt or you create more?, i make you this question because i remember to you that many customcourt work with the same court, and it's here where i have a big doubt, will it be possible create a new customcourt and make it work good?, in fact, i created a thread with this last information, but nobody saw the importance of what i explained there and nobody said nothing, i think it would be great create a customcourt unique per tournament, it would give best reality, more customisable.

Well, i hope you can clear my two doubts.

Thanks.

No. I have never done a custom court for each court. For Future & challenger tournaments i just replace the respective court.jpg and court.ini in the range between CC75 and CC86. I do not think that it is difficult to create new customcourts for each tournament. You have to add each new Custom Court in tour.ini. It would take a lot time, though. Limit is 512 courts.

How I said before I created a new CustomCourt number 88 of hard court and assigned it as test to Poznan Open tournament, first creating a new line CustomCourt88 = 96 or 97 (i don't remember good) in [Court], then in
[Tournament151] that belong to Poznan Open and specifically in Ground i changed the current CustomCourt72 to CustomCourt88, then ingame i began a new season starting in Brisbane, after this tournament i chose the Poznan Open and voila, it worked perfectly. I finally have tested that's possible assign a new court to each tournament, i think this way could be more realistic the game, a specific court per tournament, and not a court for more of one tournament.

I have a doubt according to what you say about limit of courts of 512, do we must subtract to the 512 the quantity already created in data, or besides of the customcourt in data we too add 512 more customcourt?

Thanks.
