The selector will contain: GS Court S; Music S; Sound S; Net S; Menu Icons S; Shot Sound S; WT Outfit S;

I need help please! I have Dilima's patch, and just tried to update the latest version of TE that was released by Manutoo on 12/7/12 and since then; my saved game under my created profile load screen says: !! invalid !! in each of the fields that used to have my game saved. before downloading, I created a back-up of my TE folder, downloaded the new version in my TE folder and transferred over the folders that I modded with the game. It didn't work; so I read on these forums that I should go in to the tourcategory.ini file and change any 'qualifdraw' qualifdrawdoubles' that are listed as -2 to -1 which I did. Same result.

If I did this wrong for updating to the newest version and having Dilima's patch; please provide me with the correct procedure for future use. Also, if you have any ideas on how to get my saved game back; i'd greatly appreciate it.

It's normal... You shouldn't have updated the game... It made your saves invalid...

I'm confused on one thing then. In your first post about your patch; you said we must have the most updated version of TE. Is this only for the original download? If so, then I should ignore any future updates of the game by Manutoo and just stay with the patch, correct?

You can update the game and still play your saved games, what i did was in the data folder, copy everything from players.ATP right down to Tour-LastUsed.WTA to my desktop, then updated the game and once it’s updated cut &paste everything back from the desktop into TE11.

Thank you @ComeonANDY, I will do that for the future updates. I was able to get my player back, once I deleted the Tennis Elbow Application icon and Config from my TE main folder (like you do when you install the patch).

But I'm not sure if doing this also deleted the newest update I just tried to download lo;. If that's the case, I don't mind really; I'm just glad I got my player back. Do you know where tennis update information is stored in the TE folder once you update? like for example when you do an update; where do the updated game changes get saved? is it in the 'Scripts' folder under gamesys.ini or something like that? Just looking for a way to ensure the changes get applied to the patch, without the patch overriding the update and conversely, the update overriding the patch.

**UPDATE**: After researching more, it seems the majority of changes in an update from Manutoo occur in the tennis.ini folder. I did lose the update as I had suspected; so I re-downloaded the update, copied the data entries ComeonANDY mentioned, and copied the new tennis.ini to my player profile and it appears this has solved the problem. Forgive my slowness on the subject matter; I know to most modifying the game is noob stuff; but I'm slowly training myself lol. Thanks again for the help

I think that is in folder Menu->Art->bg-> file name main_1

It's possible to do but you need to know a bit about modding... Read this before: topic29-4059.php
