Is it possible to avoid the skill normalisation of the players in world tour? The skills are depending on the position of the players in the atp ranking which is actually a good thing. But editing the skills of some players in the file "players.ini" have no effect because of the skill normalisation. Federer, Nadal or Djokovic are serving with a speed of 225 km/h because of their top positions in the ranking. This is very unreal. Any idea to solve my problem?

Hello,

you can try to lower a bit their ServicePower in the "Data\Players.ini" file .

Thanks, I tried to do that, but with no effect. In the modding tutorial there is also written, that a changing of the serve or forehand skills for example has no effect really. Any other idea? In my opinion the other skills are to set to high too in world tour. In training mode i setted the skills for Federer for example as follows:

Forehand Power = 90
Forehand Consistency = 90
Forehand Precision = 94
Backhand Power = 84
Backhand Consistency = 70
Backhand Precision = 74
Net Presence = 82
Forehand Volley = 80
Backhand Volley = 76
Smash = 85
Service Power = 71
Service Consistency = 84
Service Precision = 87
Speed = 75
Stamina = 81
Lob = 70
Dropshot = 77
Counter = 87
Top Spin = 87

These skills are very realistic, tested by me... I want to set them in career mode too, when Federer is at his prime.

Possibly, in Tennis.ini (or the .ini of your Profile if you created one), you can lower this value, under [WT_SkillNormAtpRT] :
HighNorm = 0.87
Try different values till you get what you want, 0.80 & 0.85 are a good start to see what it does.

Big thanks man. I will try that... :)

Do you mean, that a lowering of this value has the effect, that the skills of all players going down?

Another question:

- The "Atp World Tour" Logo does not appear on the net. Did i made a mistake?
- I noticed a bug in the world tour: Indian Wells and Miami have a draw of 96 players, which is correctly displayed in the tournament file. But in the game, they both have a draw of only 64 players

In world tour mode, i noticed, that top players like Djokovic or Nadal are starting at tournaments like Brisbane instead of Qatar in Week 1 for example. In Qatar there is a much higher prize money. This is very unrealistic. Some ideas to solve it? Is there a value to change in any file?

And, a lot players from top 10 are playing ATP 250's tournaments, that's unrealistic too, I mean on TE M too. If I can change it somewhere?

I have a few questions...

- Is there a possibility to increase the smash power? In my opinion, the speed of smashes is very low and not effective.
- The reaction of the AI is to strong i think. It is nearly impossible to set a drop shot, which leads to a direct point.
- I noticed, that the maximum serve speed is 234 km/h. Is it possible to increase this value to 250 km/h or something? Roddick, Raonic an Karlovic f.ex. can amount such serve power...

The previous patch is just amazing! :D The next one will be even more I hope ^^

I have to say though it would be really cool if you guys could make a WTA version too....
But I know it is a lot of work so don't pay to much attention to my comments:)
