From what i saw, you are really making improvements on Murray's fh megyaem30! Keep going  !
It is also great to see, that so many others of the TE community are offering advice and support :thumbright:.
One more hint from me:
Be careful animating the racket more specifically the grip. Personally, i never animated the racket in my anims. I always move just the wrist.
As you know, when you working with the biped, you only see the middle finger of the hand. I found it hard to see where the racket will actually end up.
I messed up my first anim by moving and rotating the racket. Maybe you have better fortune that i had.

Hey guys, I'm busy working on Federer's backhand as my first animation. I have been stunned at just how complex and difficult this is to do, but I think I have almost got it done:) My problem is that when i try to use the stroke in game, the animation cuts off at the contact point with no follow through. I noticed m4n4c0r had the same problem, and that you had to correct the number of frames in the pop up window. Well I changed it from 31 to 60 (which is what I used) and I still get an animation that stops at contact point in game. Please, please could someone help:)

Wow, pretty fast...
When you want to export the animation, you can change the number of the exported frames by clicking "add". Type in the new number of the frames you want to export. Click "add" and then "remove" the old number. Afterwards click on "ok". That should do the job.

I think its for 1.0d, the latest version:) Thanks for the help m4n4c0r, I think its virtually done now, my only issue with it is the folllow through looking slightely awkward but otherwise I'm happy cause its my first attempt at animation lol:) Will try post a video of it tomorrow so you guys can give me feedback:)

What I'ld do in this situation, is to just move the wrist, so the racquet can face the ground.
Yes it makes the wrist looks weird, but at least, it gives your animation a more realistic look. And this is what counts, because ingame you don't pay attention (well that's what I do, dunno about the others  ) to the wrist but the racquet because, visually, this is the most important element of the stroke (glitches or bugs excluded ^^).

Well that's good ^^ Another member of the animation crew, we will soon outnumber the custom courts gang !
Will you want to have your animations posted in my thread or you want to make your own ?

Nothing for now
But maybe next month, I'll have Tsonga & Nishikori's forehand done + a special Gonzalez retirement pack (serve + backhands + forehand V2 + 2 mood gestures)
