About 2 types of strike per player,
if it's the "TE Animation Team" wants to create the additional animations, then of course, that'd off-load a ton of work off my hands and make that feature possible... ;)

If you want to do that, you don't have to do exactly identical preparation, but :
- it's better if the preparation time (ie: before the hit) is identical between the anims
- center of body during the whole preparation should be very close in both anims
- racket sweetspot on hit should be almost in identical place
so in case of swap during the preparation, it'll look almost ok

It's not that we must create additional animations for any player; we can use the same animation for both strokes if there's no particular difference...should work fine I think
Don't forget about the backhand too :)

I finished Berdych backhand version 2...Don't know how good it is but it definitely better than the first version:

It has the new sweet spot that Manutoo provided us for 2h-bh

Here is my anim of Nadal's forehand. I know there are already a couple of very good Nadal forehands but i started this anim a long time ago and i wanted to finish it. Besides it is one of my favourite strokes in Pro Tennis :) .

I'm open to suggestions. Link will follow.

Next up: Djokovic slice (finally  ) to complete the Top 4 strokes

At this point i also want to appreciate Lucian's work of the last weeks. He really has advanced the whole animation section :applause: .
Thanks buddy  !!

Thanks man ;)

Nadal's forehand is perfect....I have only one suggestion: put the link as soon as possible :D

I've said it already; my animations are pretty good but yours are the best

later edit: btw, for the 2h backhands, have you seen Neeky's Tutorial of how to link the right hand on the racquet ?? just making sure you did because it will save you a lot of work to do

Fantastic m4n4c0r, especially the preparation part of it. Just pure class. I do have a request though, and I'm really hoping you can do this. I don't know if you have seen but our plan going forward is to create a slightly different animation (only for a select few players who need it, like Nadal) for the forehand depending on whether it's a shot 1 or a shot 1+2 type. So please after your Djokovic slice could u try making Nadals flat forehand (where he finishes around his shoulder) as manutoo has said it will be possible to do this. Just imagine how amazing it could he to be able to hit one overhead forehand with Nadal and then finish with an around the shoulder winner like he does in reality.

All u need to do is alter the finish of ur overhead Nadal animation so he finishes around the shoulder. Everything else with the animation must stay the same - so it shouldn't take too long to do. Once we have have both, we can ask Manutoo to test it in game. I did this for my Nadal forehand but I think it's obvious we all prefer yours  Anyways, glad to have you back.

Lucian also wanted to say congrats on the Berdych pack. You are an asset to the game, can't tell u how much fun you have given me with ur animations :D

Thank you for the praise mate!
I will do Nadal's shoulder finish forehand for sure :) . It's a beast!
To be honest. This particular shot was my very first animation. Certainly i was overchallenged by 3ds Max 8  . The result: I messed up the whole animation and bunged it in the trash where it should stay !!
