For the font-type, I think it's possible. Give me an example of what you want !
For having only the last name and in upper case, as Manutoo said, it is not possible for the world tour without editing the players.atp.
Maybe Manutoo will define a new variable for it in the future...
But if you want I could try to create a little script which will automatically replace all the names in players.ini by the last names in upper case.
Are there players with the same last name like Williams sisters ?

Can you give me a snapshot of my last scoreboard with more than one set played ? Just to see how the played set are and to modify the colour !!!

Yes there are players with the same last name, maybe there are a way to put the first letter of name on the scoreboard(ex: R.Federer),
if don't, just the last name it would be fine.

Question :
I downloaded your ico and I see they are named "*m1000"
Does it mean that this scoreboard is for Masters 1000 ?
We can do other versions for masters 250/500 and grand slam.
I think I could automatically load the good one with the last update of TE (I asked manutoo to do something for this)

Other things not really related to scoreboard :
In the world tour game, we can also display other things such as the name of the tournament, the round, ranking and countries flags of the players

There are still a lot of thing to do to have a better layout

anyway I forgot to answer your question it means Masters 1000 yes...

So here is a new version of the scoreboard:

Changes:
- bottom position (if you want, see and change scoreX and scoreY in hudabove.menu)
- colour (orange) of the score of the played sets (not tested as usual !)
- new ico for serve indicator (you can change the colour)
- haas192's ico for the rest of the scoreboard

I've tested it and the 2nd one is perfect )

Here are the Australian Open 2011 icos.

You will realise that there are two extra ico:
- scoreboard........tga (this is the australian open logo in the beginning of the scoreboard)
- scoreboard........ 2.tga (this is that blue line at the end of the scoreboard)
You only have to put these icos in there place, there's nothing else to do with them.

If you don't have the picture I lately put in my post I send you of the whole scoreboard.
