How to replace Courts for the main area:
Example: Rome, Clay-Court (Court01, gs_clay)
Open Q-Ped, file open PAK1 from your tennis elbow directory
1.Replace courttex.jpg in folder court01 with the courttex.jpg from downloaded Rome court.
2.Replace CourtA01.jpg in directory Data/Models/Textures/Stadium/gs_clay
For Indoor Courts it will be CourtIn01.jpg
You can do this for every court. Note: for court07 the courtin01.jpg or courta01.jpg has to be replace in Data/Models/Textures/Stadium/ because there is no extra folder like gs_clay.
This courts will be seen in the menu.
How to put courts to the world tour,3d-Courts:
I think the best way for world tour I don’t replace courts in the main folders (court01-court08) to make sure that those tournaments, which I do not have any new courttex.jpg or CourtA01.jpg/CourtIn01.jpg will appear as normal 3d-Courts without any textures (only Managames, US-Ball signs etc…).
The first customcourts (customcourt01 to customcourt04) I will use for the 4 main-tournaments Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon and US-Open. This courts you will also be seen in the menu if you play an training match.
Example Australian Open:
1)open Qped, file open PAK 1 from your tennis elbow directory
2)new directory , rename it customcourt01
3)export/extract Court07 folder to your desktop
4)replace the existing courttex.jpg with the AO courttex.jpg in Windows area
5)import the files from the court07 folder on your desktop with Qped to the renamed customcourt01.
6)open Data/Models/Textures/Stadium/ and make a new directory “custom01” and put the AO Courta01.jpg in there.
7) with Qped go to Pak01.Pak/Scripts/GameSys.ini and extract it to the desktop. Open Gamesys.ini with Windows Notpad and go to where are the Stadium01 to Stadium09.
Put in a new Stadium:
[Stadium10]
Skin = custom01 (we made a folder custom01)
SignColor = 0 (to make sure that managames signs are off)
Note: you can also put in icon=”number”. Number means that there are icons for grass, clay, hardcourt etc. and you put in the right number to have the right icon for the tournament.
Put Australian Open to World Tour:
Qped, Data/Tour.ATP.ini extract to desktop.
Open with Windows Notepad an put in under courts:
AO = 10
Go to tournaments and search “Australian Slam”. Delete Slam and write Open. Under line ground delete and choose ground = AO
Australian Open is now in the game.
Other notes:
Search a picture of Australian Open and resize it to 128x128 pixels and save as customcourt01.tga and replace the customcourt01.tga in the PAK1 directory: Qped, Menu\Art\ico\CustomCourt01.tga
So you can choose in training club 4 custom courts with pictures.
For other customcourts like customcourt05 you will not see them in the menu but will available in World Tour.
Court.ini:
For a new clay court replace the existing court.ini in extracted court07 folder on the desktop with a court.ini used for clay courts. Otherwise the speed of the court and sound (clay court is slower and make no sound like an indoor court) is not correct. Also grass or hard court etc.
For Indoor stadiums don’t forget that the right file is always CourtIn01.jpg for outdoor CourtA01.jpg.
Also don’t forget that in GameSys.ini that a Indoor Stadium has another lines which can be copied from an existing Stadium “mesh” and “texture”
Alternatively, if I do not wanna play in normal 3D Stadiums for tournaments which I do not have customcourts in 3D I create a new directory Data/customcourt15 for example and replace the court.jpg with a customcourt 2D stadium. – for those tournaments I will deactivate 3D Stadiums in Video-Options in the games menu-
Than:
Qped, Data/Tour.ATP.ini extract to desktop.
Open with Windows Notepad an put in under courts:
CC15 = 15
Go to tournaments and search “tournament you want”. Under line ground delete and choose ground = CC15
Customcourt15 is now in the world tour in 2D…if you do not deactivate 3D the court will be the normal 3D court 1-9.
Hope this will be helpful for all which didn’t have any programmer experience…
I also give explanations in German if somebody has Problems with english via pm.
