I think it is absulutely possible, because you can see some JPEG files in the folder Tennis Elbow 2011\Data\models\textures\male called hair01, hair02, hair03, hair04, hair05, hair06. You can easiy edit them with Paint or other simple programs. I'm not sure that it is working without editing the "hair..mask", but i think you can try it. Anyway, it is not an easy thing to make the pictures as big as the picture's hair and to put it in the right position. But not impossible...
